TOOLS REQUIRED: Screwdriver, wire stripper/cutter, ladder, voltage tester.

  1. PREPARE: Turn off power at the main circuit breaker. Verify power is off with a voltage tester.
  2. MOUNT CANOPY: Remove the existing ceiling fixture. Use the provided screws to attach the black metal canopy to a secure ceiling electrical box.
  3. CONNECT WIRES: Connect the fixture wires (Brown/Live, Blue/Neutral, Green-Yellow/Earth) to the corresponding house wires using the provided wire connectors. Follow local color codes.
  4. ADJUST LENGTH: Decide on the desired hanging length. Adjust the suspension cord by loosening the cord grip at the canopy, setting the length, and retightening.
  5. ATTACH SOCKET: Connect the lamp holder wires to the suspension cord wires (usually pre-connected). Secure the lamp holder to the end of the suspension.
  6. ATTACH SHADE: Carefully place the glass shade over the lamp holder. It may rest on or screw into a provided ring. Ensure it is secure and level.
  7. INSTALL BULB: Screw in an E27 bulb (max 60W, LED recommended). Do not overtighten.
  8. FINISH: Tuck all wires neatly into the canopy. Secure the canopy cover. Restore power and test the light.

Tip: For dimming, use a compatible LED dimmer switch and a dimmable LED bulb.

Operation

Operate using your existing wall switch.

  1. ON/OFF: Use the wall switch connected to the fixture's circuit.
  2. DIMMING: If using a dimmable bulb and dimmer switch, adjust light level to preference.
  3. BULB REPLACEMENT: Turn off power and allow bulb to cool. Unscrew old bulb, screw in new E27 bulb (max 60W).

WARNING! Never touch the bulb with bare hands when it is hot. Always turn off power before replacing the bulb.

Maintenance & Cleaning
