Assembly Instructions
Estimated assembly time: 30-45 minutes. Recommended tools: Phillips screwdriver (optional), rubber mallet.
- Prepare the Area: Lay out all parts on a clean, flat, padded surface.
- Connect Vertical Posts: Join the four posts (A) using the plastic connectors. Tap gently with a rubber mallet to secure.
- Attach Base Frame: Connect the lower horizontal braces to the posts using the provided screws and Allen key.
- Install Leveling Feet: Screw the adjustable feet into the bottom of each vertical post.
- Insert Shelves: Place the wire shelves (B) onto the support clips. Ensure they are level and securely seated.
- Attach Wall Brackets: Secure the L-shaped brackets to the top rear of the frame using the longer screws.
TIP: Do not fully tighten all screws until the entire frame is square and level.
Installation & Mounting
This unit must be anchored to the wall.
- Position the Rack: Move the assembled rack to its desired permanent location against a wall.
- Locate Wall Studs: Use a stud finder to locate solid wood studs in the wall. Mark their positions.
- Mark Bracket Holes: Hold the rack level against the wall. Mark the screw holes from the wall brackets onto the wall.
- Drill Pilot Holes: At the marks, drill pilot holes into the center of the wall studs.
- Secure to Wall: Align the rack's brackets with the pilot holes. Insert and tighten the wall-anchor screws firmly into the studs.
- Final Check: Gently try to tilt the rack forward. It should not move. Adjust the leveling feet if the unit rocks.
CAUTION! Do not mount into drywall alone. Use the wall studs for a secure hold.
Adjusting Shelves
Shelves are held by plastic support clips that snap into holes on the vertical posts.
- Remove a Shelf: Lift the shelf up and slightly forward to disengage it from the rear clips, then lift it off the front clips.
- Reposition Clips: To lower or raise a shelf, remove the four plastic support clips from their current holes.
- Insert Clips at New Height: Choose the desired height and press the clips firmly into the holes on all four posts.
- Replace Shelf: Hook the rear edge of the shelf onto the rear clips, then lower the front edge onto the front clips.
- Test Stability: Gently press down on the shelf to ensure all clips are fully engaged.
Note: Ensure clips are fully inserted and shelves are level before loading.
Weight Limits & Loading
- Maximum Load per Shelf: 15 kg (33 lbs).
- Total Distributed Load: Do not exceed 60 kg (132 lbs) for the entire unit.
- Loading Tips:
- Place heavier items (pots, appliances) on lower shelves.
- Distribute weight evenly across each shelf.
- Avoid placing excessively tall or unstable items on top shelves.
- Do not hang items from the sides or top of the frame.
WARNING! Overloading can cause the rack to collapse, resulting in injury or damage.
Care & Cleaning
Unload shelves before moving or cleaning the rack.
- Regular Cleaning: Wipe the frame and shelves with a soft, damp cloth. Dry immediately.
- Stubborn Stains: Use a mild soap solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals.
- Rust Prevention: If the finish is scratched, touch up with matching paint to prevent rust.
- Check Tightness: Periodically check that all screws and wall anchors are tight.
CAUTION! Do not use steam cleaners or high-pressure water jets.
Disassembly & Moving
