NOTE: Using the correct tools ensures proper assembly and prevents damage to parts.

Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before beginning assembly.

  1. Assemble on a soft, clean surface to avoid scratches.
  2. Keep small parts away from children and pets.
  3. Use two people for lifting and positioning large panels.
  4. Ensure the unit is securely anchored to the wall to prevent tipping.
  5. Do not exceed the maximum weight limit for shelves.

WARNING! Failure to secure the unit to the wall can result in serious injury or death from tipping.

Step-by-Step Assembly

Follow these steps in order. Do not fully tighten connectors until all parts are aligned.

  1. Step 1: Lay the main panels (Part 10012345) flat. Insert dowel pins (10012350) into the pre-drilled holes on the sides.
  2. Step 2: Attach the side panels (10012346) to the main panels using the dowel pins. Align carefully.
  3. Step 3: Insert cam lock screws (10012349) into the designated holes on the side panels.
  4. Step 4: Place the cam lock nuts (10012348) on the opposite side and tighten using the Allen key (10012352). Hand-tighten only at this stage.
  5. Step 5: Once the frame is square, fully tighten all cam locks. Check for stability.
  6. Step 6: Insert shelving boards (10012347) into the desired positions. They rest on the built-in shelf supports.

Tip: A soft mallet can help gently tap dowels and panels into place without damage.

Mounting & Installation

This unit must be secured to a wall stud or solid masonry using the provided wall anchor kit.

  1. Position the assembled unit against the wall in its desired final location.
  2. Use a level to ensure the unit is perfectly vertical and horizontal.
  3. Mark the wall through the mounting holes on the back of the unit.
  4. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. For drywall, use the provided wall anchors.
  5. Secure the unit to the wall using appropriate screws (not included for all wall types).
  6. Double-check that the unit does not rock or tip forward.

CAUTION! Do not rely on drywall alone. Always anchor into a stud or use suitable heavy-duty wall anchors.

Configuration Options

The UTRUSTA kit allows for flexible shelf placement.

Shelves are adjustable in 32mm increments using the peg holes.

Weight Limits & Specifications

Do not place TVs or other heavy objects on the top without verifying wall anchor strength.

Care & Maintenance

Wipe with a damp, soft cloth. Wipe dry immediately.

DO NOT: Use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or chemical solvents. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or moisture.

Disassembly & Moving

To disassemble, reverse the assembly steps.

  1. Remove all items from shelves and the unit.
  2. Unscrew the wall anchors last, carefully supporting the unit.
  3. Using the Allen key, loosen the cam locks in reverse order (Step 5 to Step 1).
  4. Gently separate panels. Keep all hardware organized in a bag.
  5. Protect panels with blankets or cardboard during transport.
