Installation

Maintenance & Filter Replacement

The filter needs regular replacement for optimal performance. The filter indicator light will turn red when replacement is due (approximately every 6 months under normal use).

1. Unplug the air purifier.
2. Press the latch and lift the top cover off.
3. Remove the old filter by pulling it straight out.
4. Insert the new STARKVIND filter, ensuring it is seated correctly.
5. Replace the top cover and plug in the unit.
6. Press and hold the filter reset button (inside near the filter compartment) for 5 seconds to reset the indicator.

Note: Use only genuine IKEA STARKVIND replacement filters. Dispose of the old filter according to local regulations.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the unit before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

To clean the sensor window (located on the front), use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust.

CAUTION! Never immerse the unit in water or other liquids. Do not use the purifier if the power cord or plug is damaged.
