Safety Information

Read all instructions before assembly. Use proper lifting techniques.

  1. Work Area: Assemble on a clean, flat, protected surface.
  2. Lifting: Cabinet is heavy; use two people to avoid injury.
  3. Wall Mounting: MUST be securely attached to wall studs using provided brackets to prevent tipping.
  4. Children: Keep small parts away from children during assembly.
  5. Power Tools: Use caution if using electric screwdriver; do not overtighten.

WARNING! Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from furniture tip-over. Always secure this cabinet to the wall.

Assembly Instructions

Follow steps in order. Do not fully tighten cam locks until frame is squared.

  1. Attach sides to bottom: Insert dowels (F) into bottom panel (C). Align side panels (A, B) and tap gently with hammer. Insert cam lock screws (E) from inside and turn 90° clockwise to lock (do not fully tighten yet).
  2. Attach top panel: Repeat step 1 to attach top panel (C) to side panels.
  3. Square the frame: Ensure all corners are 90°. Use a measuring tape to check diagonal measurements; they should be equal. Fully tighten all cam locks.
  4. Install back panel: Place frame face down. Position back panel (D) into grooves. Secure with provided small nails or screws into pre-drilled holes.
  5. Attach adjustable feet: Screw feet (I) into bottom panel at each corner.

Tip: Lay frame on a soft blanket during assembly to prevent scratches.

Mounting to Wall

This is a critical safety step to prevent tip-over.

  1. Locate wall studs: Use a stud finder to locate solid wood studs. Mark their positions with a pencil.
  2. Position cabinet: Place assembled cabinet in its desired location. Use level on top to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Adjust feet as needed.
  3. Attach mounting brackets: Secure the provided metal brackets (G) to the inside top rear of the cabinet frame using screws.
  4. Secure to wall: Hold cabinet firmly against wall, aligning brackets with wall stud marks. Drive the long wall attachment screws (H) through bracket holes and into the wall studs. Tighten securely.
  5. Final check: Gently try to pull cabinet away from wall. It should not move. Re-check level.

CAUTION! Do not rely on drywall anchors alone. Screws MUST go into wooden studs.

Adjusting Doors & Drawers

For optimal function, doors and drawers (sold separately) may need adjustment after installation.

Note: Refer to the specific door/drawer instruction manual for detailed adjustment steps.
