Safety Instructions

WARNING! Read all instructions before assembly and installation.

  1. This shelf is designed for bathroom use but is not waterproof. Avoid prolonged direct water contact.
  2. Ensure the wall structure is solid (studs or masonry) to support the shelf and its intended load.
  3. Maximum load capacity: 15 kg (33 lbs). Do not exceed this weight.
  4. Keep small parts away from children during assembly.
  5. Use appropriate personal protective equipment when drilling.

CAUTION! Improper installation can cause the shelf to fall, resulting in injury or damage.

Assembly Steps

Assemble the shelf and brackets before mounting to the wall.

  1. Attach brackets to shelf: Place the shelf board upside down on a soft, protected surface. Align the left bracket (Part 10012346) with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the shelf.
  2. Secure brackets: Using the provided Allen key and screws from the screw pack, tighten the screws to secure the bracket to the shelf. Repeat for the right bracket (Part 10012347).
  3. Check alignment: Ensure both brackets are parallel and firmly attached. The assembly is now ready for wall mounting.

Tip: Do not overtighten screws into the wood to avoid splitting.

Wall Installation

Proper wall mounting is critical for safety.

  1. Choose location: Select a location near the sink, ensuring there is enough clearance above and below.
  2. Use the template: Tape the provided mounting template to the wall at the desired height. Use a level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal.
  3. Mark drill points: Use a pencil to mark the drilling points through the holes on the template.
  4. Drill holes: Remove the template. Drill holes at the marked points using a drill bit suitable for your wall (use a masonry bit for tile/brick, a wood bit for studs). Insert the provided wall plugs.
  5. Mount the shelf: Have a helper hold the assembled shelf with brackets against the wall, aligning the bracket holes with the drilled holes. Insert and tighten the screws firmly into the wall plugs.
  6. Final check: Gently pull down on the shelf to test stability. Use a level to confirm the shelf is horizontal.

WARNING! If drilling into tiles, use a slow speed to prevent cracking. Always verify there are no electrical wires or pipes behind the drilling area.

Care & Maintenance

To maintain the appearance and longevity of your solid oak shelf:

CAUTION! Never use steam cleaners or immerse the shelf in water.
