  2. Required Tools: No tools required for basic assembly. A screwdriver may be needed to tighten the clamp if necessary.

Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your RANARP work lamp.

  1. Attach the arm to the clamp base: Insert the arm's mounting post into the socket on the clamp base. Tighten the locking knob securely by hand.
  2. Attach the lamp head to the arm: Align the head's connector with the end of the arm. Push together until it clicks or seats firmly. Tighten any adjustment knobs by hand to secure.
  3. Check all joints: Ensure all knobs are tight enough to hold positions but allow adjustment when needed.
  4. Insert bulb: Screw an appropriate bulb (E26/E27, max 60W) into the socket. Do not exceed wattage.

CAUTION! Assemble on a soft surface to avoid scratching. Ensure all connections are secure before use.

Installation & Mounting

Tip: For optimal stability, clamp to the center of the surface edge, not a corner.

Operation & Controls

Operating the lamp is simple via the pull-chain switch.

On/Off: Pull the chain hanging from the lamp head once to turn on. Pull again to turn off.

Adjustment: The lamp arm and head are adjustable. Loosen the knobs at the joints, position as desired, then re-tighten knobs to lock in place.

Note: The pull-chain is the only control; there is no dimmer.

Adjusting the Lamp

The lamp offers flexible positioning for task lighting.

  1. Arm Height & Reach: Loosen the main arm knob. Raise, lower, or extend the arm. Tighten knob.
  2. Head Tilt & Rotation: Loosen the head joint knob. Tilt shade up/down and rotate side-to-side. Tighten knob.
  3. Fine-tuning: Small adjustments can be made without fully loosening knobs due to spring tension.

WARNING! Do not force the arm or head beyond its natural range of motion.

Bulb Replacement

Always turn off and unplug the lamp before replacing the bulb.

  1. Allow bulb to cool completely if recently on.
  2. Grip the bulb firmly and turn counterclockwise to remove.
  3. Insert new E26/E27 bulb (max 60W). Screw clockwise until snug. Do not overtighten.
  4. Plug in and test with pull-chain.

CAUTION! Use only bulbs with the specified base and wattage. LED or CFL bulbs recommended for energy efficiency and lower heat.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug lamp before cleaning.

  1. Use a soft, dry cloth to dust the metal surfaces.
  2. For tougher marks, dampen cloth slightly with water. Wipe dry immediately.
  3. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemicals.
  4. Do not immerse any part of the lamp in water.

CAUTION! Never spray liquids directly onto the lamp. Keep electrical parts dry.
