Assembly Instructions

Assemble the lamp components before mounting to the wall.

  1. Lay all parts on a clean, soft surface.
  2. If applicable, attach the lamp shade or diffuser to the main body as per the diagram. This usually involves aligning and twisting or securing with small screws.
  3. Ensure all connections between parts are secure but do not over-tighten.
  4. Do not connect to power during assembly.

CAUTION! Handle glass or plastic shades with care to avoid cracks or breaks.

Wall Mounting & Installation

Choose a suitable location near a power source.

  1. Turn off power at the circuit breaker for the installation area.
  2. Hold the mounting bracket against the wall in the desired position. Use a spirit level to ensure it is straight.
  3. Mark the screw holes with a pencil.
  4. Drill holes at the marks and insert the provided wall plugs (for solid walls).
  5. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws.
  6. Ensure the bracket is firmly attached and does not wobble.

Electrical Connection

WARNING! Risk of electric shock. If uncertain, hire a qualified electrician.

  1. With power still OFF, route the lamp's power cable to your wall's electrical outlet or junction box.
  2. For direct wiring: Connect the lamp wires (Brown/Live, Blue/Neutral, Green-Yellow/Earth) to the corresponding mains wires in your wall using the terminal block. Tighten screws securely.
  3. For plug connection: Simply plug the cord into a nearby grounded outlet.
  4. Once connected, carefully tuck all wires into the mounting bracket or cover.
  5. Attach the assembled lamp body to the mounted bracket, typically by aligning and sliding or securing with final screws.
  6. Install the recommended light bulb (see Specifications). Do not exceed the maximum wattage.

Operation

Once installed and the bulb is in place:

  1. Restore power at the circuit breaker.
  2. Use the wall switch or cord switch (if present) to turn the lamp ON/OFF.
  3. The lamp is designed for ambient lighting. Avoid looking directly at the light source.

Tip: For optimal light distribution and energy efficiency, use an LED bulb.

Care & Maintenance

Always disconnect from power before cleaning.

  1. Use a dry, soft cloth to dust the lamp shade and body.
  2. For tougher stains on non-electrical parts, use a slightly damp cloth. Dry immediately.
  3. Never use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemicals.
  4. Replace the light bulb only when the lamp is cool to the touch.

CAUTION! Do not immerse any part of the lamp in water or other liquids.
