Safety Information

Read all instructions before installation and use.

  1. Ensure water supply is turned OFF at the shut-off valves before beginning installation.
  2. Check all connections for leaks after installation before regular use.
  3. Do not use excessive force when operating the handle or spray head.
  4. This faucet is for cold and hot water supply only. Maximum water temperature: 140°F (60°C).
  5. Keep packaging materials away from children to avoid risk of suffocation.

WARNING! Risk of scalding. Always check water temperature before use, especially with children or elderly persons.

Included Parts

Unpack and verify all parts are present before starting installation.

Note: Tools required but not included: Adjustable wrench, basin wrench, plumber's putty or silicone sealant, clean cloth.

Installation Instructions

Follow these steps for proper installation. Estimated time: 30-45 minutes.

  1. Prepare the sink: Ensure sink hole is clean and clear. Apply a bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the underside of the deck plate.
  2. Insert the faucet: Place the faucet body through the sink hole from above. From below, slide the mounting plate and secure with the provided mounting nut. Hand-tighten, then use a basin wrench to secure firmly.
  3. Connect supply lines: Attach the hot (red ring) and cold (blue ring) quick-connect hoses to the corresponding water supply valves under the sink. Ensure connections are hand-tight, then give a quarter turn with an adjustable wrench. Do not overtighten.
  4. Connect spray hose: Route the spray hose through the faucet body and connect it to the water outlet underneath. Secure with the provided clip or nut.
  5. Final check: Turn on water supply slowly. Check all connections for leaks. Operate the handle and spray head to flush out any debris and check for proper function.

Tip: If the spray head does not retract fully, adjust the weight on the hose for proper tension.

Operation & Use

Using your NYVATTNET faucet is simple and intuitive.

  1. Turning water on/off: Lift the handle upward to turn on. Move handle left for hot water, right for cold water. Push down to turn off.
  2. Adjusting temperature: Fine-tune temperature by moving the handle slightly left or right while water is flowing.
  3. Using the spray head: Pull the spray head down from its dock. The water will automatically switch to the spray head. To retract, gently guide the hose back; the weighted hose will help pull it into place.
  4. Spray modes: Press the button on the spray head to switch between a powerful spray (for cleaning) and a steady stream (for filling).

Note: The handle has a temperature memory feature and will return to its last position when lifted.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care will maintain the appearance and function of your faucet.

  1. Daily Cleaning: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
  2. Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or acidic cleaners (like vinegar or bleach-based products) on the finish.
  3. Aerator Cleaning: If water flow decreases, unscrew the aerator from the tip of the spray head, rinse to remove debris, and reinstall.
  4. Mineral Deposits: For hard water areas, clean with a solution of mild dish soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.

CAUTION! Never use steel wool or abrasive sponges. Do not leave harsh chemicals in contact with the finish.
