Safety Instructions
WARNING! Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious injury or damage.
- This mirror is heavy. Use two people for handling and assembly.
- Ensure the wall can support the mirror's weight. Use appropriate wall anchors for your wall type (drywall, plaster, concrete).
- Keep all small parts away from children to avoid choking hazards.
- Do not hang the mirror above a bathtub or in an area where it could fall into water.
- Wear safety glasses when drilling into walls.
- Check that the mirror is securely mounted before use.
Assembly Steps
Assemble the mirror frame on a soft, flat surface to avoid scratches.
- Step 1: Lay the mirror panel face down on a soft cloth or cardboard.
- Step 2: Attach the side frames (100004 & 100005) to the bottom frame section (100003) using the provided screws and Allen key. Do not fully tighten yet.
- Step 3: Place the assembled bottom and sides around the mirror panel.
- Step 4: Attach the top frame section (100002) to the side frames. Ensure all corners are aligned.
- Step 5: Tighten all screws securely with the Allen key, but do not overtighten.
- Step 6: Carefully turn the assembled mirror over and check for stability.
CAUTION! Handle the mirror glass with care. Avoid putting pressure on the center of the panel.
Wall Mounting
Mounting the mirror securely is critical for safety.
- Locate Studs: Use a stud finder to locate wall studs. Mounting into studs is ideal. If not possible, use heavy-duty wall anchors suitable for your wall type and the mirror's weight.
- Mark Positions: Hold the mirror against the wall at the desired height. Use a pencil to mark the top corners. Use a level to ensure marks are even.
- Attach Brackets: Attach the wall brackets (200101) to the back of the mirror frame using the provided screws.
- Drill Holes: At your marked positions, drill pilot holes into the wall. Insert wall plugs if needed.
- Mount Mirror: With help from another person, lift the mirror and hook the brackets onto the screws in the wall. Ensure it is level and secure.
- Final Check: Gently pull on the mirror to confirm it is firmly attached to the wall.
Tip: The ideal mounting height is with the center of the mirror at eye level for the primary user.
Care & Maintenance
Proper care will keep your mirror looking new.
- Clean the mirror with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Use a mild glass cleaner or a solution of vinegar and water. Spray the cleaner onto the cloth, not directly onto the mirror, to avoid liquid seeping behind the frame.
- Wipe the frame with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Avoid exposing the mirror to excessive moisture or steam for prolonged periods to protect the backing.
CAUTION! Never use harsh chemicals, ammonia-based cleaners, or sharp objects on the mirror surface.
