Assembly Instructions
Estimated assembly time: 15-20 minutes. Follow steps in order.
- Attach Casters: Turn one side panel (A) upside down on a protected surface. Press a caster stem (E or F) firmly into each of the four corner holes until it clicks securely into place. Repeat for the second side panel.
- Connect Side Panels: Lay both side panels (A) parallel to each other. Insert the lower shelf (D) between them, aligning the holes on the shelf brackets with the holes on the side panels.
- Secure with Bolts: Insert the provided bolts through the aligned holes from the outside. Secure them from the inside with the nuts. Hand-tighten, then use the hex key (G) to fully tighten. Do not overtighten.
- Add Middle & Top Shelves: Repeat step 3 for the middle shelf (C) and then the upper shelf (B), working from the bottom up.
- Final Check: Ensure the cart stands level and all connections are tight. Gently rock the cart to test stability. Engage the brakes on two casters.
CAUTION! Assemble with another person if possible, as parts can be awkward to handle alone.

| Cart wobbles or is unstable | Uneven floor; loose bolts; casters not fully seated | Check floor level. Tighten all frame connection bolts. Ensure all four casters are pressed completely into the frame sockets. |
| Casters do not roll smoothly | Debris in wheels; damaged caster | Clean wheel treads. Check for obstructions in the swivel mechanism. Replace damaged caster (contact IKEA). |
| Shelf seems bent or sagging | Weight limit exceeded | Immediately remove excess weight. Do not exceed 55 lbs (25 kg) per shelf. The shelf may retain slight deformation if overloaded. |
| Difficulty inserting bolts | Holes misaligned | Loosen other connections slightly to align parts, then re-tighten all bolts in sequence. |
| Brakes not holding | Debris under caster; brake mechanism worn | Clean the area around the brake pad. Ensure the cart is on a clean, dry surface. The brake is designed for gentle slopes only. |
Disposal: At end of life, disassemble and recycle materials according to local regulations.
