  3. Weight Limit: Do not exceed the maximum load capacity (see Specifications).
  4. Stability: Ensure all four legs are firmly on the floor before sitting.

WARNING! An incorrectly assembled chair can collapse, causing injury or damage. Follow steps precisely.

Assembly Instructions

Estimated assembly time: 10-15 minutes.

  1. Prepare: Unpack all parts and lay them out. Identify the frame (upside down) and seat.
  2. Attach Seat: Place the seat panel onto the frame, aligning the four pre-drilled holes with the threaded inserts on the frame.
  3. Insert Screws: Using the provided Allen key, hand-tighten all four screws through the seat into the frame. Do not fully tighten yet.
  4. Final Tightening: Once all screws are started, tighten each one firmly in a cross pattern (e.g., top-left, bottom-right) to ensure even pressure.
  5. Cover Screws: Press the four plastic caps into the screw heads on the top of the seat for a finished look.
  6. Inspect: Turn the chair upright. Check that all connections are secure and the chair does not wobble.

CAUTION! Do not stand on the seat or use the chair as a step ladder.

Specifications

Adjustments & Usage

This is a fixed-height chair with no mechanical adjustments.

Proper Sitting Posture: Sit with your back against the curved backrest, feet flat on the floor. The seat is designed to provide passive ergonomic support.

Stacking: The MÅNHULT chair is stackable for space-saving storage. Stack a maximum of 6 chairs. Always lift chairs when stacking; do not drag.

Weight Capacity & Stability

The chair is tested for a maximum static load of 242 lbs (110 kg).

  1. Do not exceed this limit.
  2. Do not lean back on two legs or tilt the chair, as this can damage the frame and cause tipping.
  3. Check tightness of screws periodically, especially after initial use.

Tip: For even wear, occasionally rotate the chair's position if used in a set.

Care & Cleaning

Regular care will maintain appearance and longevity.

Frame (Powder-coated steel): Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Use a mild detergent if needed. Dry immediately. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

Seat (Lacquered plywood): Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid excessive moisture. Do not use wax, polish, or furniture spray.

CAUTION! Never immerse the chair in water or use steam cleaners.

Disassembly & Storage

To disassemble for moving or storage, reverse the assembly steps.

  1. Remove plastic caps with a flat tool.
  2. Use the Allen key to loosen and remove the four screws.
  3. Separate the seat from the frame.
  4. Store all parts in a dry place, protected from sharp objects that could scratch the finish.

Note: Keep the assembly hardware in a labeled bag for future use.
