Tools Required

Gather these tools before starting. Some are included.

NOTE: Using the correct tools ensures proper assembly and safety.

Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before assembly. Follow safety guidelines to prevent injury or damage.

  1. Work Area: Assemble on a clean, soft surface to avoid scratching parts.
  2. Lifting: Shelf can be heavy; use two people for handling and wall mounting.
  3. Wall Mounting: MUST be secured to wall studs or using provided anchors in solid wall material. Failure to do so can cause the unit to tip over, especially if loaded or if children climb on it.
  4. Children: Do not allow children to climb or hang on the shelves.
  5. Weight Limit: Do not exceed maximum load per shelf (see Specifications).

WARNING! Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from furniture tip-over. Always secure this furniture to the wall.

Assembly Steps

Follow these steps in order. Do not fully tighten screws until all parts are aligned.

  1. Step 1: Lay side panels flat on protected surface. Identify pre-drilled holes.
  2. Step 2: Attach the bottom shelf first. Align it with the lower holes on both side panels. Insert and hand-tighten screws from pack A using the Allen key.
  3. Step 3: Attach the middle shelf. Align with the middle set of holes. Insert and hand-tighten screws.
  4. Step 4: Attach the top shelf. Align with the top set of holes. Insert and hand-tighten screws.
  5. Step 5: Once all shelves are attached and the unit is square, go back and fully tighten all screws.
  6. Step 6: Attach the wall brackets to the back of the side panels using screws from pack A. Ensure they are secure.

TIP: Do not overtighten screws, as this may damage the particleboard.

Wall Mounting Installation

This is a critical step for safety. The unit must be permanently fixed to the wall.

  1. Decide on placement. Ensure there is enough space and the wall is suitable.
  2. Hold the assembled shelf unit against the wall in the desired location. Use a level to ensure it is straight. Lightly mark the wall through the holes in the wall brackets.
  3. Set the shelf aside. At the marked points, drill pilot holes into the wall studs. If no stud is available at the correct location, use the provided wall anchors.
    • For studs: Use the wood screws from pack B directly.
    • For drywall/plaster: Tap the plastic wall anchors (pack B) into the drilled holes until flush with the wall.
  4. Lift the shelf unit back into position, aligning the bracket holes with the drilled holes.
  5. Insert the appropriate screws from pack B through the brackets and into the wall studs or anchors. Tighten securely with a screwdriver.
  6. Gently pull on the shelf to test it is firmly attached to the wall.

CAUTION! If you are unsure about wall type or mounting, consult a professional.

Weight Capacity & Specifications

Do not place hot items, wet items, or heavy appliances (like large TVs) that exceed the weight limit on the shelves.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life of your shelf.

  1. Cleaning: Wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Wipe dry immediately.
  2. Avoid: Abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals.
  3. Moisture: Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight.
  4. Inspection: Periodically check that all screws and wall mounts are tight.

NOTE: The surface is not waterproof. Clean spills immediately.
