- Two-Person Assembly: Cabinet is heavy; always use two people for lifting and assembly.
- Stable Surface: Assemble on a soft, clean surface to avoid scratches.
- Wall Anchoring: To prevent tipping, cabinet MUST be securely attached to the wall using the provided brackets and screws into wall studs.
- Glass Handling: Handle glass doors and shelves with care. Do not overtighten screws near glass.
- Tool Safety: Use only the provided Allen key. Power tools may damage parts.
- Child Safety: Do not let children climb or hang on doors or shelves.
WARNING! Serious injury or death from tipping can occur. Always secure cabinet to wall.
Assembly Steps
Follow the numbered steps in the included illustration guide. Estimated assembly time: 60-90 minutes.
- Prepare Workspace: Unpack all parts. Lay protective covering on floor.
- Attach Bottom to Sides: Connect bottom panel (C) to side panels (A1, A2) using cam locks (I). Tighten with Allen key.
- Install Back Panel: Slide fiberboard panel (D) into grooves on sides and bottom. Secure with provided nails or screws if included.
- Attach Top Panel: Place top panel (B) on assembly. Secure to side panels using remaining cam locks.
- Install Fixed Shelf: Insert fixed middle shelf (G) at designated height. It may click into place or require screws.
- Insert Shelf Support Pegs: For adjustable shelves, insert pegs (L) into pre-drilled holes on side panels at desired heights.
- Mount Door Hinges: Attach hinges (H) to side panels as per left/right markings. Do not fully tighten yet.
- Hang Glass Doors: Carefully hang doors (E1, E2) onto hinges. Align and then tighten hinge screws.
- Place Adjustable Shelves: Rest glass shelves (F1, F2) on support pegs.
- Final Check: Ensure all screws and cam locks are tight. Doors should open and close smoothly.
Tip: Keep doors in protective film until assembly is complete to prevent fingerprints.
Installation & Leveling
Proper installation ensures stability and prevents tipping.
- Choose Location: Place cabinet against a solid wall, away from direct heat or humidity sources.
- Level the Cabinet: Use a spirit level on top surface. Adjust by placing shims under the bottom panel if floor is uneven.
- Wall Attachment:
- Locate wall studs using a stud finder.
- Position brackets (J) on top rear of cabinet interior.
- Mark drill holes on wall through bracket slots.
- Drill pilot holes into wall studs.
- Secure cabinet to wall using suitable screws (for your wall type, not always provided).
- Final Check: Gently try to tilt cabinet forward. It should not move if properly secured.
CAUTION! If you cannot attach to a stud, use appropriate wall anchors rated for the cabinet's weight.
Door Adjustment
Doors may need alignment after assembly or over time.
- Vertical Alignment: Loosen hinge screws on cabinet frame slightly. Lift or lower door, then retighten.
- Horizontal Alignment (Gap): Adjust the screw at the hinge elbow (in/out) to move door closer to or farther from the frame.
- Depth Alignment: If door is too deep or shallow, adjust the screw at the back of the hinge cup (inside the door).
- Closing Tension: Some hinges have a tension screw. Turn clockwise to increase resistance, counter-clockwise to decrease.
Note: Make small adjustments and test frequently. Do not overtighten.
Care & Maintenance
Proper care extends the life of your cabinet.
- Glass: Clean with a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with a mild glass cleaner or vinegar/water solution. Dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Metal Frame: Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. For stubborn marks, use a mild soap solution. Dry immediately.
- Interior: Dust regularly with a soft cloth.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, ammonia-based cleaners on metal, excessive moisture, and placing very hot or wet items directly on surfaces.
CAUTION! Never spray cleaner directly onto glass. Spray onto cloth first.
