Assembly Instructions

Follow steps in order. Do not fully tighten cam locks until all parts are aligned.

  1. Prepare side panels: Identify left (E1) and right (E2) side panels. Insert wood dowels (K) into pre-drilled holes on the inner sides of both panels.
  2. Attach base frame: Align base frame (G) with the bottom of side panels. Secure using cam locks (J). Hand-tighten only.
  3. Attach top panel: Place top panel (F) onto the side panels. Align dowel holes and secure with cam locks from underneath.
  4. Tighten all joints: Once the main frame is square, fully tighten all cam locks clockwise using a screwdriver.
  5. Install drawer runners: Attach left runners (H) and right runners (I) to the inner sides of the cabinet using provided screws. Ensure they are level and at equal heights for each drawer position.

Tip: Lay the cabinet on its back during assembly for easier access.

Anti-Tip Device Installation

THIS STEP IS MANDATORY FOR SAFETY.

  1. Position chest: Move the assembled chest to its final location against the wall.
  2. Locate wall stud: Use a stud finder to locate a solid wall stud behind the intended position of the chest.
  3. Attach strap to chest: Secure the anti-tip wall strap (L) to the top rear of the chest using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly attached.
  4. Secure to wall: Pull the strap taut to the wall. Mark the screw holes on the wall stud. Drill pilot holes and screw the strap securely into the wall stud using screws (M).
  5. Final check: Gently try to tilt the chest forward. It should not move. Re-tighten if necessary.

Drawer Installation & Adjustment

Assemble drawers before inserting into the chest.

  1. Assemble drawer box: Connect drawer front (A), sides (B), and back (C) using cam locks and dowels. Slide the drawer bottom (D) into the grooves around the lower inside perimeter.
  2. Attach drawer runners: Snap the drawer runner mechanisms onto the sides of the drawer box. They should click into place.
  3. Insert drawer: Align the drawer runners with the cabinet runners. Push the drawer in until it clicks and slides smoothly.
  4. Adjustment: If a drawer is uneven or sticks, slightly loosen the screws on the cabinet-mounted runner to adjust its position. Re-tighten.

Note: Drawers have a safety stop to prevent them from being pulled out completely accidentally.
