Drawer Installation & Adjustment

- Test Slide: The drawer should slide in and out smoothly without catching.
- Align Drawer Fronts: If a drawer front is misaligned, open the drawer and loosen the screws attaching the front to the drawer box. Adjust position and retighten.
- Adjust Runners: If a drawer sticks or is uneven, check that the runners on both sides are installed at the same height and are securely fastened.
Note: Do not force drawers. If they do not slide easily, remove and check runner alignment.
Wall Attachment (Anti-Tip)
THIS STEP IS MANDATORY FOR SAFETY.
- Locate the solid wall stud using a stud finder.
- Position the chest in its permanent location against the wall.
- Attach the provided wall strap to the solid wall stud using a screw (not included, recommend #8 screw).
- Attach the other end of the strap to the back of the chest frame at the designated upper attachment point using the provided screw.
- Pull the strap tight to ensure no slack.
WARNING! Never rely on drawers or the weight of the furniture to prevent tipping. The strap must be attached to a solid wood wall stud, not just drywall.
Care & Maintenance
To maintain appearance and function.
- Cleaning: Wipe with a damp cloth. Wipe dry immediately. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or solvents.
- Drawer Runners: Keep runners free of dust and debris. If they become stiff, a small amount of furniture wax or dry lubricant on the metal rails can help.
- Avoid Moisture & Heat: Do not place near radiators, stoves, or in damp areas. Protect from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
CAUTION! Excessive moisture can cause particleboard to swell. Never soak or steam clean.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Possible Cause | Corrective Action |
| Drawer sticks or is hard to open | Misaligned runners, overloaded, debris | Check runner alignment, reduce weight, clean runner tracks. |
