Assembly Instructions

Follow steps in order. Allow 60-90 minutes for assembly. Two people recommended.

  1. Prepare: Unpack all parts in the room where dresser will be used. Identify all pieces using the manual diagram.
  2. Frame Assembly: Connect side panels to top and bottom panels using cam locks and pins. Ensure all connections are tight and square.
  3. Back Panel: Attach the fiberboard back panel using provided screws. This adds stability.
  4. Drawer Assembly: For each drawer: Connect sides to front and back, slide in the bottom panel into grooves, secure. Attach glides to drawer sides.
  5. Drawer Runner Installation: Attach the matching glide/runner units to the inside of the dresser frame at the marked positions.
  6. Drawer Insertion: Carefully slide each drawer into its corresponding runners. Test smooth operation.

CAUTION! Do not overtighten screws in particleboard. Assemble on a carpet or blanket to prevent surface damage.

Wall Anchoring (CRITICAL)

This is the most important step to prevent tip-over accidents.

  1. Position the dresser against the wall in its permanent location.
  2. Locate the wall anchoring bracket(s) in the hardware pack.
  3. Attach the bracket(s) to the upper back of the dresser using provided screws.
  4. Mark drill holes on the wall through the bracket. Ensure you are drilling into a wall stud for maximum strength. If no stud, use appropriate wall plugs.
  5. Drill pilot holes, insert plugs if needed, and secure the bracket to the wall with screws.
  6. Tighten all connections. Test stability by gently pulling the top of the dresser forward.

WARNING! Never skip this step, even on carpeted floors. Check anchoring annually and after moving the dresser.

Drawer Installation & Use

Drawers use a roller glide system for smooth operation.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with a damp cloth wrung out in mild soapy water, then wipe dry.

DO NOT use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or solvents. Avoid excessive moisture.

To maintain drawer smoothness, occasionally clean the glides with a dry cloth and apply a small amount of furniture wax or silicone spray to the runners if they become stiff.
