  3. Ensure bed is stable and on level ground before mounting curtain.
  4. Do not allow children to climb or hang on the curtain rod.
  5. Regularly check that all screws and brackets are tight and secure.

CAUTION! The curtain is not a safety barrier and does not prevent falls from the bed.

Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps for proper assembly. Estimated time: 15-20 minutes.

  1. Prepare Area: Clear space around the KURA bed.
  2. Identify Parts: Lay out all components as listed in section 3.
  3. Assemble Rod: Extend the adjustable curtain rod to match the width of your bed frame. Do not over-extend.
  4. Attach Brackets: Slide one mounting bracket onto each end of the rod. Ensure the bracket opening faces downward.
  5. Position: Hold the rod with brackets at the desired height on the bed posts.

Tip: Refer to the included pictorial guide for visual reference during assembly.

Mounting the Curtain Rod

Secure the rod to the KURA bed posts.

  1. Align a bracket with a bed post. The bracket should wrap around the post.
  2. Insert a screw through the bracket hole and into the pre-drilled hole on the bed post (if available).
  3. Using the Allen key, tighten the screw firmly but do not overtighten.
  4. Repeat for the second bracket on the opposite bed post.
  5. Gently tug on the rod to ensure it is securely mounted and does not wobble.

WARNING! Ensure the bed is in its final position before mounting, as moving it afterward may loosen the brackets.

Hanging the Curtain

Attach the curtain panel to the rod.

  1. Unfold the curtain panel completely.
  2. Locate the header tape (top edge) with built-in loops or channels.
  3. Slide the curtain onto the rod by threading the rod through the loops/channels.
  4. Evenly distribute the fabric along the length of the rod.
  5. Ensure the curtain hangs freely and can be opened and closed smoothly.

Tip: For easier threading, slightly collapse the adjustable rod, thread the curtain, then re-extend it.

Adjustments & Fitting

Fine-tune the curtain for optimal fit and function.

Note: The curtain is designed for the KURA bed; modifications for other beds are not recommended.

Care & Cleaning

Maintain your curtain for long-lasting use.

  1. Regular Dusting: Use a soft brush or vacuum with a soft brush attachment.
  2. Machine Washing: Remove curtain from rod. Wash separately in cold water on gentle cycle. Use mild detergent.
  3. Drying: Tumble dry on low heat or air dry. Do not iron.
  4. Rod & Brackets: Wipe with a dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Do not bleach. Fabric may shrink slightly if washed in hot water or dried on high heat.
