Assembly Instructions

Follow steps in numerical order as shown in the included pictorial guide.

  1. Frame Assembly: Connect side panels to top and bottom panels using cam locks and dowels. Ensure all cam locks are turned to the locked position.
  2. Back Panel Installation: Insert the fiberboard back panel into the groove on all frame panels. Secure with provided screws.
  3. Runner Installation: Attach the outer part of the metal runners to the inside of the frame side panels using the screws. Ensure they are level and at the correct height for each drawer.
  4. Drawer Box Assembly: Assemble each drawer box by connecting sides to front/back and attaching the bottom panel. Slide the inner part of the runner onto the drawer box sides.
  5. Drawer Front Attachment: Insert drawers into the frame. Adjust drawer front to be centered and level with the frame, then secure from inside the drawer box with screws.
  6. Final Check: Open and close each drawer to ensure smooth operation. Attach plastic caps to cover visible screw heads.

Tip: Do not fully tighten drawer front screws until all drawers are aligned correctly.

Installation & Leveling

Once assembled, move the chest to its final location.

  1. Leveling: Place a level on top of the chest. Adjust the height of the glides (if adjustable) or place shims under the chest legs to ensure it is level and does not rock.
  2. Wall Attachment (CRITICAL):
    • Locate the wall attachment bracket and screws.
    • Position the chest against the wall.
    • Attach the bracket to the back panel of the chest using provided screws.
    • Mark the wall through the bracket holes. Move the chest aside.
    • Drill pilot holes into wall studs if possible. Use appropriate wall anchors for your wall type (drywall, plaster, etc.).
    • Secure the bracket to the wall firmly.
    • Slide the chest back into place, ensuring it engages with the wall bracket.

Drawer Use & Adjustment

The drawers feature a stop mechanism and smooth-glide runners.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Wipe dry immediately.
