Safety Instructions

WARNING! Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or damage.

  1. Wall suitability: Ensure your wall can support the shelf's weight. Use wall plugs for solid walls; attach brackets to wall studs for drywall.
  2. Two-person job: Assembly and mounting are easier and safer with two people.
  3. Check stability: After mounting, test the shelf's stability before placing items on it.
  4. Keep away from children: Small parts are a choking hazard. Keep away during assembly.
  5. Do not exceed weight limit: Maximum load: 15 kg (33 lbs) evenly distributed.

Assembly Steps

Follow these steps in order. Do not fully tighten screws until all parts are aligned.

  1. Identify parts: Lay out all parts as shown in the diagram.
  2. Attach brackets to shelf:
    • Place shelf board upside down on a soft surface.
    • Position left bracket on the underside, aligning pre-drilled holes.
    • Insert 2 screws (provided) and tighten partially with Allen key.
    • Repeat for right bracket.
  3. Final tightening: Ensure brackets are parallel and evenly spaced. Fully tighten all 4 screws.
  4. Check alignment: Turn shelf right-side up. Brackets should extend perpendicular to the shelf.

Tip: Do not overtighten screws, as this may damage the wood.

Wall Mounting

CAUTION! Mounting requires precision. Use a spirit level to ensure the shelf is horizontal.

  1. Choose location: Select a wall area free of pipes and wires. Use a stud finder if needed.
  2. Mark bracket positions:
    • Hold assembled shelf against wall at desired height.
    • Use a pencil to mark the top screw hole of each bracket.
    • Use a spirit level across both marks to ensure they are level.
    • Mark remaining screw holes using bracket as template.
  3. Drill holes: Drill holes at marked points. Diameter should match wall plugs.
  4. Insert wall plugs: Tap plugs into holes with a hammer until flush with wall.
  5. Mount shelf:
    • Align bracket holes with wall plugs.
    • Insert screws and tighten with screwdriver until snug.
    • Do not overtighten.
  6. Final check: Gently pull down on shelf to ensure it is securely mounted. Use spirit level to confirm it is horizontal.
