- Two-person job: Assembly and mounting are easier and safer with two people.
- Check stability: After mounting, test the shelf's stability before placing items on it.
- Keep away from children: Small parts are a choking hazard. Keep away during assembly.
- Do not exceed weight limit: Maximum load: 15 kg (33 lbs) evenly distributed.
Assembly Steps
Follow these steps in order. Do not fully tighten screws until all parts are aligned.
- Identify parts: Lay out all parts as shown in the diagram.
- Attach brackets to shelf:
- Place shelf board upside down on a soft surface.
- Position left bracket on the underside, aligning pre-drilled holes.
- Insert 2 screws (provided) and tighten partially with Allen key.
- Repeat for right bracket.
- Final tightening: Ensure brackets are parallel and evenly spaced. Fully tighten all 4 screws.
- Check alignment: Turn shelf right-side up. Brackets should extend perpendicular to the shelf.
Tip: Do not overtighten screws, as this may damage the wood.
Wall Mounting
CAUTION! Mounting requires precision. Use a spirit level to ensure the shelf is horizontal.
- Choose location: Select a wall area free of pipes and wires. Use a stud finder if needed.
- Mark bracket positions:
- Hold assembled shelf against wall at desired height.
- Use a pencil to mark the top screw hole of each bracket.
- Use a spirit level across both marks to ensure they are level.
- Mark remaining screw holes using bracket as template.
- Drill holes: Drill holes at marked points. Diameter should match wall plugs.
- Insert wall plugs: Tap plugs into holes with a hammer until flush with wall.
- Mount shelf:
- Align bracket holes with wall plugs.
- Insert screws and tighten with screwdriver until snug.
