Tools Needed

You will need the following tools for assembly (not included).

Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your picture frame. Work on a clean, soft surface to avoid scratches.

  1. Prepare the parts: Lay out all parts from the package. Identify the front panel (clear), back panel, and four frame sides.
  2. Join the frame sides: Connect the four frame sides at the corners. They should snap or fit together easily. Ensure the groove for the front/back panels faces inward.
  3. Secure corners (if applicable): If your frame uses metal corner brackets, align them at each corner on the back side. Use the provided small screws and a screwdriver to secure them firmly. Do not overtighten.
  4. Insert the front panel: Carefully place the clear front panel (glass or acrylic) into the frame groove from the back. Use a soft cloth to handle it to avoid fingerprints.
  5. Insert your picture: Place your photo or artwork face-down on the front panel. Ensure it is centered within the frame opening.
  6. Add the back panel: Place the cardboard or hardboard back panel over the picture. Press it firmly into the frame groove.
  7. Secure the back: If the frame includes small metal tabs or clips around the edges, bend them inward over the back panel to hold everything in place.

WARNING! Handle the front panel (especially if glass) with care to avoid breakage and injury.

Mounting on Wall

For secure wall mounting, follow these instructions.

  1. Choose location: Select a wall area suitable for the frame's weight. Avoid damp areas or direct sunlight to protect your picture.
  2. Attach hanger: The sawtooth hanger is usually pre-attached to the center top of the frame's back. If not, center it horizontally on the back panel's top edge and nail it in place using the small provided nails.
  3. Mark the wall: Hold the frame against the wall at the desired height. Use a pencil to mark the wall just below the tip of the sawtooth hanger. Use a level to ensure your mark is level if hanging multiple frames.
  4. Install wall nail: Hammer the provided nail into the wall at your mark, leaving about 1/4 inch (6 mm) protruding.
  5. Hang the frame: Lift the frame and hook the sawtooth hanger onto the nail. Gently adjust the frame to make it level.

CAUTION! Ensure the wall and fastener are suitable for the frame's weight. For heavier frames or plasterboard walls, use appropriate wall anchors.

Inserting & Changing Pictures

To change the displayed picture, follow these steps.

  1. Lay the frame face down on a soft surface.
  2. Gently bend back the metal securing tabs around the frame's back edge to release the back panel.
  3. Remove the back panel and then the old picture.
  4. Insert the new picture face-down onto the front panel, ensuring it is centered.
  5. Replace the back panel and secure it by bending the metal tabs back into place.

Tip: For frequent changes, consider using a digital photo or a placeholder to avoid damaging the frame tabs.

Care & Cleaning

To keep your frame looking its best.

CAUTION! Never immerse the frame in water. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the finish or front panel.
