Safety Instructions

WARNING! Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from furniture tipping over. This furniture must be permanently fixed to the wall.

  1. Tip-over Hazard: Unanchored furniture can tip over. Always secure this furniture to the wall using the provided wall attachment device.
  2. Assembly: Assemble on a soft, clean surface to avoid scratching parts. Keep small parts away from children during assembly.
  3. Weight Limit: Do not exceed the maximum load of 13 kg (29 lbs) per shelf compartment. The total maximum load for the unit is 65 kg (143 lbs).
  4. Placement: Place on a level, stable floor. Do not place near direct heat sources or in damp areas.

Step-by-Step Assembly

Follow these steps in order. Do not fully tighten cam locks until the structure is square.

  1. Step 1: Identify all panels (long sides, short sides/shelves).
  2. Step 2: Insert wood dowels into the pre-drilled holes on the long side panels as shown in the diagram.
  3. Step 3: Connect the first short side panel (shelf) to one long side panel by aligning the dowels and holes. Hand-tighten the cam locks into the screws on the opposite side.
  4. Step 4: Repeat Step 3 for the remaining shelves, building the unit on its back.
  5. Step 5: Attach the final long side panel to complete the box structure.
  6. Step 6: Ensure all joints are aligned, then fully tighten all cam locks using a screwdriver.
  7. Step 7: Carefully stand the unit upright.

Tip: Do not overtighten cam locks, as this can strip the particleboard.

Mounting to Wall (Important!)

This is a mandatory safety step to prevent tip-over.

  1. Decide on the final placement of the shelf unit.
  2. Locate wall studs using a stud finder. For solid walls, use appropriate wall plugs.
  3. Place the unit against the wall. Using the provided bracket as a template, mark the screw holes on the wall through the top inside of the unit.
  4. Drill pilot holes at the marked spots.
  5. Attach the bracket to the wall using the provided screws, ensuring it is secure.
  6. Place the unit back against the wall and secure it to the bracket using the screw provided in the wall attachment set.
  7. Check that the unit is stable and cannot be pulled away from the wall.

WARNING! If you cannot secure the furniture to the wall, do not use it. The wall attachment device is designed for standard wood stud walls. For other wall types (e.g., concrete, brick), use suitable fixings available separately.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with a damp cloth wrung out in a mild soap solution. Wipe dry immediately.

DO NOT: Use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or solvents. Avoid excessive moisture.
