Assembly Instructions
Follow steps in numerical order. Do not fully tighten all screws until the frame is square.
- Frame Assembly: Connect the side frames to the top and bottom frames using the provided cam locks and dowels. Ensure all corners are aligned.
- Install Drawer Rails: Attach the gliding rail halves to the inside of the frame according to the spacing guide. Ensure they are level and parallel.
- Drawer Box Assembly: Assemble drawer sides, front, back, and bottom using the cam lock system. Insert the drawer bottom into the grooves.
- Attach Drawer Fronts: Slide the drawer box into the rails partially. Attach the drawer front to the drawer box using the adjustment screws—do not fully tighten yet.
- Final Adjustments: Adjust the drawer front for even gaps and alignment with the frame. Tighten all adjustment screws securely.
- Install Handles (if applicable): Attach handles or pulls to the drawer fronts as per design.
Tip: Lay the frame on its back during assembly for easier access.
Adjusting the Drawers
Drawers can be adjusted for smooth operation and perfect alignment.
- Height Adjustment: Use the adjustment screws at the rear of the drawer slide to raise or lower the drawer.
- Side-to-Side Alignment: Loosen the screws connecting the drawer front to the drawer box slightly. Align the front, then re-tighten.
- Sticking Drawers: Check for obstructions inside the drawer or frame. Ensure slides are clean and properly engaged.
Note: The full-extension slides allow complete access to the drawer contents.
Mounting & Stability
Critical Step: This furniture must be anchored to the wall.
- Locate wall studs using a stud finder.
- Position the unit against the wall in its final location.
- Attach the provided anti-tip bracket to the wall stud(s) using suitable screws (not always provided for all wall types).
- Secure the bracket to the top rear of the drawer unit frame.
- Test for stability by gently pulling forward on the top of the unit.
CAUTION! If you cannot secure the unit to a wall stud, use appropriate wall anchors designed for the weight and your wall type (drywall, plaster, etc.).
Care & Maintenance
To maintain appearance and function:
- Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Use a mild detergent if needed. Dry immediately. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or solvents.
- Drawer Slides: Keep slides free of dust and debris. A dry silicone spray can be applied sparingly if slides become stiff (disconnect from power sources first if near electronics).
- Weight Limit: Do not exceed the recommended weight limit per drawer as specified in the specifications.
