Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before assembly and installation.

  1. Always use at least two people to lift and position the countertop.
  2. Ensure cabinets are level, stable, and securely anchored to the wall.
  3. Wear safety glasses and gloves when cutting or drilling.
  4. Keep away from open flames and high heat sources.

WARNING! Countertop is heavy; improper lifting can cause injury. Ensure work area is clean and dry.

Tools Required

Gather these tools before starting:

Note: Use tools appropriate for wood/laminate materials.

Assembly & Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation.

  1. Prepare cabinets: Ensure they are level, secured to wall, and aligned.
  2. Position countertop: Lift with two people, place gently on cabinets.
  3. Check overhang: Standard overhang is ¾ inch (20mm) at front and sides.
  4. Align and center: Adjust until evenly positioned on all cabinets.
  5. Secure from below: Attach using mounting brackets into cabinet frames.

CAUTION! Do not stand or apply excessive weight on countertop before it is fully secured.

Mounting to Cabinets

Use brackets for a secure fit.

  1. Mark bracket locations inside cabinet frames (refer to cabinet instructions).
  2. Pre-drill pilot holes for screws (prevents splitting).
  3. Attach brackets to cabinet frames using provided screws.
  4. Lower countertop onto brackets and tighten screws from below.
  5. Check stability – there should be no movement.

Tip: Do not overtighten screws, as this may damage the particleboard core.

Sink & Hob Cutouts

If cutouts are required, follow these guidelines.

  1. Use the template provided by the sink or hob manufacturer.
  2. Measure twice, mark cutout area clearly with pencil.
  3. Drill starter holes inside marked corners for jigsaw entry.
  4. Cut slowly with jigsaw, supporting the cut piece to prevent splintering.
  5. Sand edges smooth and apply adhesive sealing strip immediately.

WARNING! Always wear eye protection and a dust mask when cutting. Ensure cut edges are fully sealed to prevent moisture damage.

Sealing & Waterproofing

Proper sealing extends countertop life.

Note: The pre-finished surface is moisture-resistant, but cut edges are vulnerable without sealing.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with damp cloth and mild detergent. Wipe dry immediately.

DO: Use coasters under glasses and hot pads under pots/pans.
DO NOT: Use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals. Avoid standing water and direct heat.

CAUTION! Prolonged exposure to moisture or heat can cause warping, swelling, or surface damage.
