Safety Information
WARNING! Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from furniture tipping over. This cabinet must be permanently fixed to a solid, load-bearing wall using the provided hardware and instructions.
- Wall Requirement: Mount only to a solid wall (concrete, brick, or wood studs). Do not mount to plasterboard/drywall alone without appropriate anchors into studs.
- Weight Limit: Do not exceed the maximum load capacity for shelves (see Specifications).
- Two-Person Job: Assembly and mounting are easier and safer with two people.
- Child Safety: Do not allow children to climb or hang on the cabinet. Keep small hardware parts away from children during assembly.
- Mirror Care: The mirror is glass. Handle with care to avoid breakage and injury.
Assembly Instructions
Assemble the cabinet on a soft, clean surface (e.g., carpet or blanket) to prevent scratches.
- Attach Side Panels: Connect the left and right side panels to the BACK PANEL using the provided dowels and cam locks. Insert dowels into holes on the back panel, align side panels, and tighten cam locks with a screwdriver.
- Attach Top & Bottom Panels: Connect the TOP and BOTTOM panels to the side and back assembly using the same dowel and cam lock method. Ensure all corners are square.
- Install Mounting Brackets: Attach the two metal MOUNTING BRACKETS to the upper inside rear of the cabinet using the provided screws. These are critical for hanging.
- Insert Shelves (Temporary): Place the adjustable shelves on the support pins inside the cabinet. Final adjustment will be after mounting.
- Check Door: The mirrored door comes pre-attached. Open and close it to ensure the soft-close mechanism works smoothly.
Tip: Do not fully tighten all cam locks until the entire frame is assembled to allow for minor adjustments.
Wall Mounting
This is the most critical step. The cabinet must be securely anchored.
- Locate Studs: Use a stud finder to locate solid wood studs in your wall. Mark their center with a pencil. If no studs are available, you must use heavy-duty wall anchors suitable for the cabinet's weight and your wall type.
- Mark Bracket Positions: Hold the assembled cabinet (with help) against the wall at the desired height. Use a level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Lightly mark the wall through the keyhole slots on the mounting brackets.
- Drill Pilot Holes: At the marked positions, drill pilot holes into the wall studs or for your wall anchors. The hole size should match your screws or anchors.
- Mount the Cabinet: With help, lift the cabinet and hook the mounting brackets onto the screws you have partially screwed into the wall. Ensure all brackets are securely engaged.
- Secure & Finalize: Fully tighten the screws into the wall. Gently try to pull the cabinet away from the wall to confirm it is fixed. Do not let go until you are certain it is secure.
CAUTION! An improperly mounted cabinet can fall, causing property damage, serious injury, or death. If unsure, consult a professional.
Adjusting Shelves
The shelves are adjustable to accommodate items of different heights.
- Open the mirrored door fully.
- Lift the front of the shelf slightly and pull it forward to remove it from the support pins.
- Reposition the metal support pins into different pre-drilled holes on the side panels.
- Place the shelf back onto the pins, ensuring it is level and seated securely at the back and front.
Note: Distribute weight evenly. Do not overload shelves beyond the specified limit.
Use & Maintenance
Daily Use: Open and close the door gently. The soft-close mechanism will prevent slamming.
Cleaning:
- Exterior/Mirror: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Use a mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner if needed. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Interior & Shelves: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
- White Finish: Clean with a mild soap solution. Do not use abrasive sponges or cleaners.
CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or strong solvents on any surface, especially the mirror.
