Safety Information

Read all instructions before assembly. Ensure a safe environment.

  1. Work Area: Assemble on a clean, flat, protected surface to avoid scratches.
  2. Lifting: The frame is heavy; use two people to lift and maneuver parts.
  3. Hardware: Keep small parts away from children to prevent choking hazards.
  4. Stability: Assemble completely and check all connections before use.
  5. Weight Limit: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity (see Specifications).

WARNING! Ensure the daybed is placed on a level floor. Do not climb or stand on the drawers. Use only the provided hardware.

Assembly Instructions

Estimated assembly time: 60-90 minutes. Follow steps in order.

  1. Prepare: Unpack all parts and group them according to the assembly guide illustration.
  2. Frame: Connect the long and short side panels using wooden dowels and cam locks. Tighten with the Allen key.
  3. Bed Base: Attach the slatted bed base to the inside of the frame using the provided screws.
  4. Drawer Runners: Install the metal drawer runners onto the inner sides of the frame at the marked positions.
  5. Drawers: Assemble each drawer box, attach the drawer front, and then slide the drawer onto the installed runners.
  6. Final Check: Ensure all screws and cam locks are tight. Test each drawer for smooth operation.

CAUTION! Do not overtighten screws in wood, as this may strip the holes. Assemble near the final location to avoid moving the heavy assembled unit.

Specifications

Using the Daybed

The daybed functions primarily as a sofa or lounge seat. For seating, use standard seat cushions (not included). Ensure cushions are centered and do not obstruct the drawer handles.

Daily Use: The frame is designed for regular use. Avoid jumping or applying sudden, excessive force.

Drawer Use: Pull drawers open using the integrated handles. Close gently. Do not overload drawers beyond the specified weight limit.

Converting to Bed Mode

The daybed can be converted into a twin bed for overnight guests.

  1. Remove all seat cushions and items from the top of the daybed.
  2. Ensure the slatted bed base is clean and properly seated in the frame.
  3. Place a twin-size mattress directly onto the slatted bed base. The mattress is not included.
  4. For added sleeping length, you can pull the daybed away from the wall (requires space on both ends).
  5. To revert to daybed mode, remove the mattress and replace cushions.

Tip: Using a mattress topper can increase comfort for sleeping. Ensure the mattress does not exceed the frame dimensions.

Drawer Operation & Storage

The three drawers provide convenient storage for bedding, pillows, or other items.

  1. Opening: Pull the drawer straight out using the handle.
  2. Closing: Push the drawer gently until it clicks shut. Do not slam.
  3. Removal: To remove a drawer for cleaning, pull it out to its full extension, then lift slightly and pull out completely.
  4. Reinstallation: Align the drawer with the runners, place it on the tracks, and push in.

WARNING! Do not allow children to play in or on the drawers. Distribute weight evenly inside drawers.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Wipe dry immediately.

CAUTION! Avoid excessive moisture. Do not use wax, polish, or silicone-based products as they may damage the finish.
