Safety Instructions
WARNING! SERIOUS OR FATAL CRUSHING INJURIES CAN OCCUR FROM FURNITURE TIPPING OVER. THIS FURNITURE MUST BE PERMANENTLY SECURED TO THE WALL.
- Two-Person Assembly: This item is heavy. Always use two or more people for assembly and positioning.
- Stable Surface: Assemble on a soft, clean surface (e.g., carpet, blanket) to prevent scratches.

- Load Distribution: Place heavier items on lower shelves. Do not exceed the maximum load capacity (see Specifications).
- Keep Away from Heat/Moisture: Do not place near radiators, stoves, or in damp areas.
Assembly Steps
Follow steps in numerical order. Do not fully tighten screws until the structure is square.
- Prepare Workspace: Clear a large area and lay out all parts with labels facing up.
- Attach Top & Bottom to Sides:
- Lay one side panel flat.
- Insert cam lock screws into the pre-drilled holes for the top and bottom panels.
- Position the top panel onto the side panel, aligning the holes. Hand-tighten the cam lock nuts.
- Repeat for the bottom panel on the same side.
- Attach the second side panel to the top and bottom panels in the same manner.
- Square the Frame: Ensure the frame is square by measuring diagonally from corner to corner. Both measurements should be equal. Adjust if necessary.
- Tighten All Connections: Once square, fully tighten all cam lock nuts using a screwdriver.
- Attach the Back Panel:
- Place the frame face down on a soft surface.
- Position the fiberboard back panel into the groove on the rear of the frame.
- Secure using the provided nails or screws, starting from the center and working outwards to ensure a flat fit.
- Stand Upright: Carefully stand the bookcase upright with assistance.
- Insert Shelves: Place the adjustable shelves onto the shelf support pins at your desired heights.
- Secure to Wall (CRITICAL STEP):
- Locate wall studs using a stud finder.
- Position the bookcase against the wall in its final location.
- Attach the wall bracket to the top rear of the bookcase using provided screws.
- Mark drill holes on the wall through the bracket. Drill into wall studs.
- Secure the bracket to the wall with suitable screws (not always provided; ensure they are appropriate for your wall type).
Adjusting Shelves
The shelves are adjustable for custom storage.
- Remove all items from the shelf you wish to adjust.
- Lift the shelf slightly and pull it forward to clear the support pins.
- Remove the metal shelf support pins from the side panels at the current height.
- Insert the pins into the pre-drilled holes at your desired new height. Ensure pins on both sides are at the same level.
- Place the shelf back onto the pins, ensuring it is level and seated securely.
Tip: For stability, always use at least two support pins per side per shelf.
Care & Maintenance
To maintain the finish and longevity of your bookcase:
- Cleaning: Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Dry immediately with a clean, dry cloth.
- Stains: Use a mild soap solution. Never use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or solvents.
- Protection: Use coasters under glasses and placemats under decorative objects to prevent rings and scratches.
- Avoid: Direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive humidity to prevent warping or fading.
