- Install the mounting hardware: From below the sink, place the rubber gasket and mounting plate. Secure with the provided nut.
- Connect the supply lines: Attach the hot (red) and cold (blue) hoses to the corresponding valves under the sink. Hand-tighten, then use a wrench for a quarter turn more. Do not overtighten.
- Connect the spray hose: Attach the pull-out hose to the faucet body and secure the weight on the hose as instructed.
- Secure the faucet: Place the faucet into the sink hole. From below, tighten the mounting nut securely.
- Final connections: Connect the supply hoses to the faucet tailpieces. Ensure all connections are secure.

Tip: If your sink has multiple holes, use the provided deck plate to cover unused openings.
Operation Guide
Using your HAMNSKÄR faucet.
- Turning water on/off: Lift the handle up to turn on. Move left for hotter water, right for colder water.
- Adjusting flow rate: The further you lift the handle, the greater the water flow.
- Using the pull-out spray head: Pull the spray head from its dock. Press the button on the spray head to switch between stream (for filling) and spray (for cleaning) patterns.
- Retracting the hose: Gently guide the hose back; the weighted hose will help retract it into place.
- Aerator: The aerator mixes air with water for a smooth stream. It can be removed for cleaning if flow decreases.
WARNING! Do not let the pull-out hose retract forcefully, as it may damage the sink or faucet.
Maintenance & Cleaning
Regular care will maintain appearance and function.
- Clean the faucet with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Dry immediately with a soft cloth.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals that can damage the finish.
- Periodically clean the aerator by unscrewing it from the spray head and rinsing out any sediment.
- Check the pull-out hose for kinks or twists that may restrict movement.
- In hard water areas, wipe away mineral deposits with a vinegar-dampened cloth, then rinse with water.
CAUTION! Never use chlorine-based or acidic cleaners on the faucet finish.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Possible Cause | Corrective Action |
| Low water pressure | Clogged aerator or supply valve partially closed | Clean the aerator. Ensure both supply valves under the sink are fully open. |
| Water leaks from handle/base | Loose connections or worn cartridge | Tighten mounting nut. If leak persists, the ceramic cartridge may need replacement. |
| Spray head does not retract | Hose kinked or weight out of position | Check hose path under sink for obstructions. Reposition the weight on the hose. |
| Difficulty moving handle | Mineral buildup or cartridge issue | Clean around handle base. If stiff, the cartridge may need service. |
| Spray pattern not changing | Debris in spray head button mechanism | Remove spray head and rinse under water. Press button repeatedly to clear debris. |
