Installation & Placement

For optimal use and longevity, place the storage box correctly.

  1. Choose a level, stable surface near your barbecue area.
  2. Ensure the location is sheltered from direct, constant rain if possible to prolong life.
  3. Place the box with the hinged side against a wall or structure for added stability if desired.
  4. Allow at least 10 cm (4 inches) clearance around the box for ventilation and lid operation.
  5. Do not place on uneven or soft ground that may cause tipping.

Note: While weather-resistant, placing the box under a slight overhang or barbecue cover is recommended for harsh climates.

Using the Storage Box

Designed for storing grilling tools, charcoal bags, lighter fluid, grill brushes, etc.

  1. Open the lid by lifting the front edge.
  2. Load items evenly, placing heavier items at the bottom.
  3. Do not exceed the 25 kg (55 lbs) weight limit.
  4. Ensure charcoal or other combustible materials are fully cooled before storage.
  5. Close the lid firmly until the hasp engages.
  6. For security, insert a padlock (not included) through the hasp.

WARNING! Never store live coals, hot ashes, or flammable liquids like gasoline. Store only cool, dry items intended for barbecue use.

Locking Mechanism

To Lock: Close the lid. Ensure the hasp loop aligns with the fixed latch on the box body. Insert your padlock through both pieces.

To Unlock: Remove the padlock. Lift the hasp and open the lid.

Maintenance: Periodically check the hasp and hinge screws for tightness. Apply a small amount of silicone spray to the hinge pins if operation becomes stiff.
