Installation Steps

Follow these steps in order for safe and correct installation.

2. Choose Location: Select a suitable wall location near a power source. Ensure no pipes or cables are behind the chosen spot.
3. Mark Holes: Hold the wall bracket against the wall. Use a pencil to mark the screw holes. Use a spirit level to ensure it is straight.
4. Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked points using the correct drill bit for your wall material.
5. Insert Wall Plugs: Tap the provided wall plugs into the drilled holes.

CAUTION! Drilling into walls can damage hidden utilities. Use a stud finder or proceed with caution.

Mounting to Wall

Secure the bracket and attach the lamp.

1. Attach Bracket: Align the wall bracket with the holes. Insert and tighten the screws firmly into the wall plugs.
2. Prepare Wires: If connecting to existing wiring, strip about 10mm of insulation from the ends of the lamp's wires (Brown/L = Live, Blue/N = Neutral, Green-Yellow = Earth).
3. Connect Wires: Connect the lamp wires to the corresponding house wiring using wire connectors (not always included - check local regulations). Live to Live, Neutral to Neutral, Earth to Earth.
4. Secure Lamp: Place the lamp onto the mounted bracket. There may be a screw or clip mechanism to lock it in place. Follow the specific design of the GRÖNPLYM model.

Tip: Tuck all wires neatly into the wall box or behind the bracket before final attachment.

Electrical Connection

Final electrical connection must be safe and secure.

1. Double-Check Connections: Ensure all wire connections are tight and secure. No bare wire should be exposed outside the connector.
2. Insulate: Use electrical tape or proper connectors to insulate each connection.
3. Mount Lamp Body: Once wiring is complete, attach the lamp body to the bracket, ensuring wires are not pinched.
4. Install Bulb: Screw in an E14 bulb of the correct wattage. Do not overtighten.

Adjusting the Lamp

The GRÖNPLYM lamp head is adjustable.
