Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before assembly and use.

  1. Stability Hazard: The unit can tip over if not properly anchored to the wall or desk. Use anti-tip device if supplied.
  2. Lifting: Unit is heavy; use two people to lift and move to avoid injury.
  3. Surface: Place on a flat, stable floor. Use adjustable feet to level if floor is uneven.
  4. Children: Do not let children climb or hang on drawers.
  5. Load Limit: Do not exceed maximum weight per drawer (see Specifications).

WARNING! Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from furniture tip-over. Always secure this furniture to the wall using the provided restraints if used in a child's environment or if not attached to a desk.

Assembly Steps

Assemble on a soft surface (e.g., carpet) to avoid scratching parts. Follow numerical order on instruction sheet.

  1. Frame: Connect left and right side panels to the back panel using provided screws and cam locks. Tighten with Allen key.
  2. Drawer Slides: Attach runner halves to the inner sides of the frame as marked. Ensure they are level and at equal height.
  3. Drawers: Attach the other half of the runners to the drawer baskets. Slide drawers into the frame to test fit.
  4. Drawer Fronts: Attach drawer fronts to the baskets using the screws from inside the drawer. Align carefully before tightening.
  5. Feet: Screw adjustable feet into the bottom of the frame at all four corners.

Tip: Do not fully tighten all screws until the entire frame is squared up.

Installation with GALANT Desk

This unit is designed to attach underneath a GALANT desk frame for an integrated look.

  1. Position the assembled drawer unit under the desk in the desired location (left or right side).
  2. Using the provided mounting brackets, align the unit with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the desk frame.
  3. Secure the unit to the desk frame using the specified screws. Tighten firmly.
  4. Check stability. The desk and unit should not wobble. Adjust feet if necessary.

Note: The unit can also be used as a standalone piece. Ensure it is placed against a wall or secured if used standalone.

Adjustments & Leveling

Use the adjustable feet to stabilize the unit on uneven floors.

  1. Place the unit in its final position.
  2. Check for wobble by gently rocking it.
  3. Turn the feet clockwise to lower that corner, or counter-clockwise to raise it.
  4. Repeat until the unit is stable and does not rock.

Tip: A small spirit level can help ensure the unit is perfectly horizontal.

Using the Drawers

Weight Capacity & Limitations

Exceeding weight limits can damage runners and frame, voiding the warranty.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Wipe dry immediately.

  1. Frame & Drawer Fronts: Use a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  2. Drawer Baskets: Remove baskets and wipe clean. Ensure they are completely dry before reinserting.
  3. Runners: If drawers become stiff, vacuum dust from runners. Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant (not oil) if needed.

CAUTION! Do not use harsh chemicals, ammonia, or bleach. Avoid excessive moisture.

Disassembly & Moving

To move or store the unit, disassemble in reverse order of assembly.

  1. Empty all drawers completely.
  2. Remove drawer fronts by unscrewing from inside the drawer.
  3. Lift drawers up and out of the runners.
  4. Unscrew the mounting brackets if attached to a desk.
  5. Unscrew the feet.
  6. Disassemble the frame by loosening cam locks and removing screws.

Note: Keep all hardware in a labeled bag for reassembly.
