Assembly Instructions

Follow steps in order. Allow 30-45 minutes for assembly.

1. Prepare Panels: Identify all panels using the assembly diagram.
2. Connect Sides to Top/Bottom: Insert dowels, align, and tighten cam locks with Allen key.
3. Attach Back Panel: Place back panel into grooves and secure with provided screws.
4. Install Shelf Supports: Insert metal supports into pre-drilled holes at desired heights.
5. Mount Hinges: Attach hinges to door, then to cabinet side panel.
6. Install Door Catch: Mount magnetic catch to top inside frame.
7. Place Shelves: Rest shelves on the installed supports.

Tip: Do not fully tighten all screws until the structure is square and aligned.

Mounting to Desk

The cabinet is designed to be mounted under the GALANT desk top.

1. Position the assembled cabinet in the desired location under the desk top.
2. Align the mounting brackets (attached to cabinet top) with the metal rail of the GALANT frame.
3. Insert and tighten the locking screws through the brackets into the frame.
4. Ensure the cabinet is level and does not wobble. Tighten all screws firmly.

WARNING! The desk must be stable and on a level floor. Test stability before loading.

Adjusting Shelves

Shelves can be repositioned to accommodate items of different heights.

1. Empty the shelf you wish to adjust.
2. Lift the shelf up and out of the supports.
3. Remove the metal shelf supports from their current holes.
4. Insert the supports into another set of pre-drilled holes at the desired height.
5. Place the shelf back onto the new supports, ensuring it is level and secure.

Note: Distribute weight evenly. The lowest shelf position offers the greatest weight capacity.

Cable Management

Use the built-in features to organize cables for a tidy workspace.

1. Route cables from devices on the desk through the cable management holes in the rear of the cabinet.
2. Use the space behind the shelves to coil excess cable length.
3. For power strips, place them on a shelf or use adhesive hooks (not included) on the inside back panel.
4. Ensure cables do not obstruct the door's closing mechanism or create a pinching hazard.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care will prolong the life of your cabinet.

• Cleaning: Wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry immediately. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• Door Hinges: If door becomes loose, tighten hinge screws with the supplied Allen key.
• Scratches: Minor scratches on black-brown surface can be touched up with a matching furniture marker.
• Inspection: Periodically check that all screws and mounting brackets are tight.
