Assembly Instructions
Assemble the lamp before mounting to the wall.
- Attach arm to bracket: Insert the end of the lamp arm (B) into the slot on the wall bracket (A). Secure with the provided screw using a screwdriver.
- Connect socket: Thread the wires from the E14 socket (D) through the lamp arm. Attach the socket to the end of the arm by twisting it clockwise until firm.
- Attach shade: Place the lamp shade (C) over the socket. Align the notches and twist gently clockwise to lock in place.
- Check mobility: Ensure the arm moves smoothly for adjustment.
CAUTION! Do not overtighten screws to avoid damaging threads.
Wall Installation
Choose a suitable location near a power source.
- Turn OFF power at the circuit breaker.
- Hold the wall bracket (A) against the wall in the desired position. Use a level to ensure it is straight.
- Mark the screw holes with a pencil.
- Drill holes at the marks using a drill bit suitable for your wall (use wall plugs for solid walls).
- Align the bracket with the holes and secure it to the wall using the provided screws.
- Ensure the bracket is firmly attached and does not wobble.
Electrical Connection
WARNING! Electricity can kill. If unsure, hire a qualified electrician.
- From your wall, you should have two wires: Live (Brown/Black) and Neutral (Blue). There may also be a ground wire (Green/Yellow).
- Connect the lamp wires to the wall wires:
- Lamp Brown wire → Wall Live wire
- Lamp Blue wire → Wall Neutral wire
- If present, connect the Green/Yellow ground wire to the grounding terminal on the bracket.
- Use wire connectors (not included) to secure connections. Ensure no bare wire is exposed.
- Tuck all wires neatly into the wall box behind the bracket.
- Snap the decorative cover cap (F) over the bracket to conceal the connections.
Operation & Adjustment
Once installed and powered:
- Turn power back ON at the circuit breaker.
- Install a suitable E14 bulb (max 40W LED recommended).
- Use the wall switch to turn the lamp ON/OFF.
- Adjustment: Gently move the lamp arm up/down and side-to-side to direct light as desired. The joint is designed for smooth positioning.
Tip: For ambient lighting, angle the shade away from direct eye line.
