Tools Required

Only basic tools are needed for assembly.

Note: The included Allen key is sufficient for all screws, but a screwdriver may make assembly faster.

Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before assembly. Keep children and pets away during assembly.

  1. Lifting: The metal frame is heavy; use two people to lift and position.
  2. Stability: Always secure the shelf to the wall using the provided wall attachment kit to prevent tipping.
  3. Surface: Assemble on a soft, flat surface (e.g., carpet or cardboard) to avoid scratching parts.
  4. Tools: Use tools carefully to avoid injury or damage to parts.

WARNING! Failure to secure the shelf to the wall can result in serious injury or death from tipping, especially if children climb on it.

Assembly Steps

Follow these steps in order. Do not fully tighten screws until all parts are aligned.

  1. Prepare: Unpack all parts and lay them out. Identify left/right side panels (marked L and R).
  2. Frame Assembly: Connect the back panel to the left side panel using 4 screws (hand-tighten only). Repeat for the right side panel.
  3. Bracket Installation: Attach metal support brackets to the inside of the frame at the marked shelf positions using the provided screws.
  4. Shelf Placement: Place the large shelves on the brackets, starting from the bottom. Ensure they sit flat and are centered.
  5. Final Tightening: Once all shelves are in place, go back and fully tighten all screws with the Allen key.
  6. Top Shelf: Install the small top shelf last, securing it with the remaining screws.

Tip: Do not overtighten screws, as this may strip the threads or damage the veneer.

Placement & Stability

Proper placement is crucial for safety and longevity.

  1. Choose a location against a solid wall (not drywall alone).
  2. Use a level to ensure the shelf is perfectly vertical and horizontal.
  3. Attach to wall studs using the wall attachment kit. If studs are not available, use appropriate wall anchors for your wall type.
  4. Do not place on uneven or wet surfaces.
  5. Distribute weight evenly across shelves. Maximum load per shelf: 33 lbs (15 kg).

CAUTION! Never place heavy items on the top shelf if the unit is not secured to the wall.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care will maintain the appearance and durability of your shelf.

Note: The ash veneer may develop a natural patina over time, which is normal.
