Safety Instructions

WARNING! To prevent serious injury and damage:

  1. Two-person assembly: Some steps require two people for safe handling.
  2. Wall studs: Always mount to wall studs or use appropriate anchors for your wall type (drywall, concrete, brick).
  3. Weight limit: Do not exceed maximum load per shelf (see Specifications).
  4. Child safety: Do not allow children to climb on shelves. Secure heavy items at bottom.
  5. Check stability: Ensure all screws are tight and unit is level before use.

CAUTION! Improper mounting can cause unit to fall, resulting in injury or damage.

Assembly Steps

Follow steps in order. Lay parts on soft surface to avoid scratches.

  1. Attach side panels to shelves: Insert cam locks into side panels (B). Align with holes in shelf boards (A). Tighten with Allen key (G).
  2. Install brackets: Attach metal brackets (C) to side panels using screws (E). Ensure brackets are oriented correctly (facing inward).
  3. Connect shelves: Place middle shelf between side panels. Secure with remaining cam locks.
  4. Attach mounting rails: Fix mounting rails (D) to back of unit using provided screws. Ensure rails are level and flush.
  5. Final check: Tighten all screws and cam locks. Ensure unit is square and rigid.

Tip: Do not fully tighten cam locks until all parts are aligned.

Wall Mounting

CRITICAL: Proper mounting ensures safety.

  1. Locate studs: Use stud finder to locate wooden studs in wall. Mark center with pencil.
  2. Position unit: Hold assembled shelf against wall at desired height. Use level to ensure it is horizontal. Mark screw holes through mounting rails.
  3. Drill pilot holes: Drill holes at marked points. For drywall without studs, use included wall anchors (F).
  4. Secure to wall: Lift unit and align with holes. Insert screws (E) through rails into wall studs or anchors. Tighten securely.
  5. Test stability: Gently pull unit away from wall to confirm it is firmly attached.

WARNING! If mounting into drywall only, you MUST use appropriate anchors rated for the shelf's weight.

Care & Maintenance

To maintain appearance and longevity:

  1. Cleaning: Wipe with damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry immediately. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  2. Avoid moisture: Keep away from excessive humidity to prevent warping.
  3. Even loading: Distribute weight evenly across shelves. Place heavier items on lower shelves.
  4. Periodic check: Every 6 months, check tightness of screws and brackets. Retighten if necessary.

CAUTION! Do not use wax, polish, or chemical solvents.
