Safety Information

Read all instructions before assembly. Failure to follow safety warnings can result in injury or damage.

  1. Tip-Over Hazard: This cabinet can tip over if not properly anchored to the wall, causing serious or fatal injury. Always use the included wall attachment device to secure the cabinet to a solid wall.
  2. Glass Warning: Door and shelves are made of tempered glass. Avoid impacts, scratches, or thermal shock. Do not use if glass is chipped or cracked.
  3. Weight Limit: Do not exceed the maximum load of 55 lbs (25 kg) total distributed across all shelves. Heavier items should be placed on the bottom shelf.
  4. Assembly: Assemble on a soft, clean surface to avoid scratching parts. Use two people for lifting and positioning.
  5. Placement: Place on a level, stable floor. Adjust leveling feet to prevent rocking. Keep away from direct heat sources and high humidity.

WARNING! Never allow children to climb on or hang from doors or shelves. Secure the cabinet to the wall immediately after assembly.

Assembly Instructions

Estimated assembly time: 60-90 minutes. Tools required: Phillips screwdriver (not included), hammer (for wall anchors if needed).

  1. Prepare Workspace: Unpack all parts in the room where the cabinet will be used. Lay protective covering on floor.
  2. Attach Leveling Feet: Screw the four adjustable feet into the holes on the bottom panel.
  3. Connect Side Frames to Bottom Panel: Align left and right side frames with the bottom panel. Insert and tighten cam lock nuts using a screwdriver (turn clockwise until firm).
  4. Install Top Panel: Place the top panel onto the side frames. Secure with cam lock nuts.
  5. Attach Back Panel: Position the fiberboard back panel into the grooves on the side, top, and bottom panels. Secure with provided screws around the perimeter.
  6. Install Shelves: Place the glass shelves onto the support pins at desired heights. Ensure shelves are seated evenly.
  7. Hang Door: With help, lift the glass door and align hinges with the hinge mounts on the side frame. Insert hinge pins and ensure door opens and closes smoothly.
  8. Install Lock: Insert the lock cylinder into the door pre-drilled hole. Secure from inside with retaining plate and screw. Test with key.
  9. Final Check: Ensure all screws and cam locks are tight. Check that the door aligns properly and shelves are level.

CAUTION! Do not overtighten screws or cam locks, as this may strip threads or damage parts.

Installation and Mounting

Wall Attachment is MANDATORY to prevent tipping. The cabinet must be anchored to a solid wall (wood stud or masonry).

  1. Position the assembled cabinet in its desired permanent location against the wall.
  2. Using the provided wall brackets as a template, mark screw holes on the wall at the top rear of the cabinet interior.
  3. If attaching to drywall, use appropriate wall anchors (not always included; check local hardware requirements). For stud walls, locate and drill into studs.
  4. Attach brackets to the wall with screws, ensuring they are firmly secured.
  5. Place the cabinet back against the wall and secure the cabinet to the brackets using the provided screws through the back panel.
  6. Re-check stability. The cabinet should not rock or pull away from the wall.

Tip: Use a level during positioning to ensure the cabinet is plumb. Adjust the leveling feet as needed.

Adjustments and Use

Door Adjustment: If the door is misaligned or drags, adjust the hinge screws. Loosen the hinge mounting screws slightly, reposition the door, and retighten.

Shelf Height: Shelves are adjustable. Lift the shelf to remove, and reposition the support pins in the side frame holes at desired height. Lower the shelf onto the pins evenly.

Leveling: If the cabinet rocks, adjust the individual leveling feet by turning clockwise to lower or counterclockwise to raise.

Lock Operation: Turn key clockwise to lock, counterclockwise to unlock. Keep key in a safe place.

Care and Maintenance

Unlock and open the door before cleaning.

  1. Glass: Clean with a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with a mild glass cleaner or a solution of vinegar and water. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or ammonia-based products on framed edges.
  2. Metal Frame: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. For smudges, use a damp cloth and dry immediately.
  3. Shelves: Remove shelves for cleaning. Support glass fully when handling.
  4. General: Avoid excessive moisture. Do not place wet items directly on surfaces.

CAUTION! Never slam the glass door. Close gently using the handle. Do not place excessive weight on the door when open.
