- Level (for final adjustment).
NOTE: Using the correct tool size prevents damage to screw heads.
Safety Instructions
Important safety information to prevent injury and damage.
- Work Area: Assemble on a clean, flat, stable surface.
- Lifting: Cabinets can be heavy. Use proper lifting technique or get assistance.
- Secure Cabinet: Ensure cabinet is stable and cannot tip during leg attachment.
- Tool Safety: Use tools as intended. Keep fingers clear of screwdriver tips.
- Final Check: Verify all screws are tight and legs are securely attached before loading cabinet.
WARNING! Failure to properly secure legs may result in cabinet instability, tipping, or collapse, causing injury or property damage.
Assembly Steps
Prepare the leg components before attaching to the cabinet.
- Inspect Parts: Lay out all parts from the package. Ensure nothing is missing or damaged.
- Attach Foot Cap: Press the plastic foot cap onto the base of each leg until it clicks into place.
- Prepare Mounting Plate: The mounting plate comes pre-assembled to the leg. Verify the connection is firm.
- Extend Leg (Optional): Rotate the leg body counter-clockwise to extend it slightly for easier initial installation.
Tip: Do not fully extend the leg before mounting; leave room for final adjustment.
Installation to Cabinet
Attaching the legs to the ENHET cabinet bottom.
- Position Cabinet: Turn the cabinet upside down on a soft, protected surface (e.g., blanket or cardboard).
- Mark Positions: Measure and mark the positions for the four legs. They should be placed near each corner, inside the cabinet's frame for optimal support.
- Align Plate: Place a leg's mounting plate against the cabinet bottom at a marked position. Ensure it is square to the cabinet edge.
- Secure Screws: Using the provided screws, drive one screw into the center hole first to hold the plate. Then, drive in the remaining three screws firmly. Do not overtighten.
- Repeat: Attach the remaining three legs in the same manner.
- Return Cabinet Upright: Carefully turn the cabinet right-side up with assistance.
CAUTION! The cabinet bottom material may be particleboard. Avoid stripping the screws by applying steady, firm pressure.
Height Adjustment
Leveling the cabinet on an uneven floor.
- Place Cabinet: Move the cabinet to its final location.
- Check Level: Place a level on top of the cabinet, both front-to-back and side-to-side.
- Adjust Legs: To raise the cabinet, rotate the leg body counter-clockwise. To lower, rotate clockwise. Adjust one leg at a time.
- Re-check: After each adjustment, check the level again. Repeat until the cabinet is perfectly level and stable (no rocking).
- Final Stability: Gently try to rock the cabinet. If it rocks, identify the high corner and slightly lower that leg, or raise the opposite legs until stable.
Note: The adjustment range is typically between 4" and 5.5" (approx. 10-14 cm) from floor to cabinet bottom.

Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Possible Cause | Corrective Action |
| Cabinet wobbles | Legs not adjusted properly; uneven floor | Re-adjust legs using level. Ensure all four legs contact the floor firmly. |
| Leg will not turn | Threads cross-threaded or dirty; leg under full load | Lift cabinet slightly to relieve weight, then try to adjust. Ensure threads are clean. |
| Screw spins but won't tighten | Stripped screw hole in cabinet | Remove screw. Use a slightly longer or wider screw, or use a wall plug/anchoring compound in the hole. |
| Leg feels loose at plate | Mounting plate screws loose | Tighten all four screws securing the mounting plate to the cabinet. |
| Plastic foot cap falls off | Not fully seated; damaged | Press cap firmly onto leg base until an audible click. If damaged, contact IKEA for replacement. |
