Safety Information

Read all instructions before assembly and installation.

  1. Work Area: Assemble on a clean, soft surface to avoid scratches.
  2. Lifting: Cabinet is heavy; use two people for lifting and positioning.
  3. Wall Mounting: MUST be securely attached to wall to prevent tipping. Use provided fittings and screws suitable for your wall type (drywall, stud, masonry).
  4. Tools: Use only the provided Allen key. Do not overtighten screws.
  5. Children: Do not allow children to climb on or play with the cabinet.

WARNING! Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from furniture tipping over. Always secure this cabinet to the wall.

Assembly Instructions

Follow steps in order. Do not fully tighten cam locks until all parts are aligned.

  1. Attach back panel: Place frame front-side down. Align back panel (E) and secure with provided screws.
  2. Insert cam lock dowels: Insert dowels (F) into marked holes on side panels.
  3. Join frame: Connect top and bottom panels to side panels using cam locks. Turn locks 90° clockwise to lock. Ensure all corners are square.
  4. Install shelves: Insert shelves (D) into desired height positions. They rest on pre-installed shelf supports.
  5. Attach hinges: Screw hinges to the inside of the cabinet frame at marked positions using screws (G).
  6. Mount doors: Hang doors (B & C) on hinges. Adjust door alignment by turning the hinge screws to raise/lower or shift doors in/out.
  7. Install handles (if included): Follow separate handle instructions.

Tip: Keep doors closed during final frame tightening to ensure proper alignment.

Installation (Wall Mounting)

This step is mandatory for safety.

  1. Decide on cabinet placement. It can be mounted alone or combined with other EKET units.
  2. Locate wall studs using a stud finder. Mark their positions.
  3. Hold cabinet against wall in desired position. Level using a spirit level.
  4. Mark drilling points through the wall attachment holes inside the top of the cabinet.
  5. Remove cabinet. Drill pilot holes at marked points into wall studs or use appropriate wall anchors for your wall type.
  6. Place cabinet back against wall, aligning holes. Insert and tighten wall attachment screws (H) through the cabinet into the wall.
  7. Ensure cabinet is firmly fixed and does not wobble.

CAUTION! If not mounted into a stud, use heavy-duty wall anchors rated for the cabinet's weight. Test stability before use.
