Specifications

Tools Required

Gather these tools before starting installation.

Essential Tools: Measuring tape, pencil, jigsaw with fine-tooth blade, drill with hole saw bits, screwdriver (flat and Phillips), adjustable wrench, silicone caulk gun, level, safety gloves, goggles.

Additional Materials: 100% silicone sealant (clear or color-matched), plumber's putty or silicone gaskets, pipe wrench, bucket/rags for water.

Installation Instructions

Follow these steps for proper undermount installation.

  1. Prepare Cabinet: Ensure cabinet is clean, level, and can support sink weight. Reinforce if necessary.
  2. Template Placement: Position template on countertop where sink will be installed. Center in cabinet opening. Trace outline with pencil.
  3. Cut Countertop: Drill starter hole inside traced line. Use jigsaw to cut along line. Sand edges smooth.
  4. Test Fit: Place sink into cutout from below. Ensure it sits flush and centered. Adjust opening if needed.
  5. Apply Sealant: Run bead of silicone sealant along top edge of sink flange (where it contacts countertop).
  6. Mount Sink: Lift sink into position from below. Secure with mounting clips: attach clips to sink flange, then tighten screws into countertop underside. Wipe away excess sealant.
  7. Cure Time: Allow silicone to cure 24 hours before connecting plumbing or applying weight.

Tip: For topmount installation, apply sealant to underside of sink rim, place into cutout, and clamp from below.

Connecting Plumbing

Install drain assemblies and connect to existing pipes.

  1. Install Strainers: Apply plumber's putty or silicone gasket to underside of basket strainer. Insert into drain hole from top. From below, attach rubber washer, cardboard friction ring, and locknut. Tighten securely.
  2. Attach Tailpieces: Screw tailpiece into strainer. Use slip nut and washer to connect.
  3. Connect P-Trap: Attach P-trap to tailpiece and existing waste pipe. Ensure all connections are hand-tightened, then use wrench for final quarter-turn.
  4. Faucet Installation: Insert faucet through pre-drilled hole(s). Secure from below with mounting hardware provided with faucet.
  5. Connect Water Lines: Attach supply lines to faucet valves and shut-off valves. Hand-tighten, then use adjustable wrench for final snug fit.

WARNING! Do not overtighten connections to avoid cracking strainer or pipes.

Sealing and Water Testing

Ensure all connections are watertight before regular use.

  1. Slowly turn on water supply valves. Check for leaks at faucet connections, supply lines, and drain assemblies.
  2. Fill both bowls with water. Let sit for 5 minutes. Check underside for any seepage.
  3. Pull drain plugs. Observe drainage speed and check P-trap connections for leaks.
  4. If leaks are found, turn off water, dry area, and re-tighten or reseal problematic connection.
  5. Once leak-free, allow silicone sealant to fully cure (24 hours) before placing heavy items in sink.

CAUTION! Do not use sink until all leaks are resolved and sealant is fully cured.

Care & Cleaning

Proper maintenance will keep your sink looking new.

CAUTION! Do not use chlorine bleach or oven cleaners; they can damage finish.
