Safety Information
WARNING! To prevent serious injury:
- This mirror is heavy. Always assemble and mount with the help of another person.
- Ensure the wall is suitable for the weight. Use appropriate wall anchors for your wall type (drywall, plaster, concrete).
- Do not mount above bathtub or in areas where it may be exposed to direct, high-pressure water jets.
- Keep children away during assembly and mounting.
- Check all screws and brackets are tight before letting go of the mirror.
Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble the mirror frame.
- Prepare workspace: Lay the mirror glass panel on a soft, flat surface (e.g., carpet or blanket) to avoid scratches.
- Attach side frames: Take the left side frame (D) and align it with the top edge of the mirror. Insert and tighten the provided screws using the Allen key (G). Repeat for the right side.
- Attach top and bottom frames: Place the top frame (B) and bottom frame (C) onto the assembled sides. Secure with screws at each corner.
- Check alignment: Ensure the frame is square and all joints are flush. Tighten all screws firmly but do not overtighten.
CAUTION! Handle mirror glass with care. Wear gloves to protect edges.
Mounting to Wall
Mount the assembled mirror securely to the wall.
- Locate studs: Use a stud finder to locate wall studs. Mark their positions lightly with a pencil.
- Position brackets: Hold the mirror against the wall at the desired height. Mark the positions for the wall mounting brackets (E) on the wall through the bracket holes.
- Drill holes: Drill holes at the marked points using a drill bit suitable for your wall anchors.
- Insert wall plugs: Tap the provided wall plugs into the drilled holes.
- Secure brackets: Screw the mounting brackets to the wall using the provided screws. Ensure they are level and tight.
- Hang mirror: With help, lift the mirror and hook it onto the mounted brackets. Ensure it is securely seated.
- Final check: Gently test the mirror for stability. Use a level to confirm it is straight.
Tip: For solid walls (concrete/brick), you may need to purchase appropriate anchors separately.
Care & Maintenance
To keep your mirror clean and in good condition:
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth or microfiber cloth.
- For cleaning, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild glass cleaner. Do not spray directly onto the mirror.
- Wipe gently in a circular motion. Dry with a separate dry cloth to prevent streaks.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals.
- Do not use excessive water near the frame joints.
CAUTION! Never use sharp objects or excessive force on the mirror surface.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
| Mirror feels loose on wall | Brackets not tight; wall anchors insufficient | Check and tighten all screws. Ensure wall anchors are rated for the mirror's weight. Remount into studs if possible. |
| Frame pieces don't align | Screws not fully tightened; parts misassembled | Disassemble and reassemble in correct order per steps. Ensure all parts are oriented correctly. |
| Mirror is not level | Wall brackets installed unevenly | Loosen bracket screws slightly, adjust using a level, then retighten. |
| Scratches on glass | Improper handling during assembly | Prevent further damage by handling edges only. Minor scratches may not be removable. |
| Screws missing or stripped | Packaging error or over-tightening | Contact IKEA customer service for replacement parts. |
