Assembly Instructions

The seat shell requires no assembly; it is a single molded piece. Proceed to attachment with frame.

CAUTION! Do not attempt to disassemble or alter the monolithic seat shell structure.

Attaching to High Chair Frame

To securely attach the seat shell to the ANTILOP high chair frame (sold separately).

  1. Ensure the high chair frame is fully assembled and stable on a level surface.
  2. Align the two front hooks on the underside of the seat shell with the corresponding bars on the front of the frame.
  3. Push the front hooks down onto the frame bars until they snap into place.
  4. Lower the back of the seat shell, guiding the two rear slots onto the rear frame bars.
  5. Press down firmly on the seat shell until a secure click is heard or felt on all four attachment points.
  6. Gently try to lift the seat shell to confirm it is locked to the frame.

WARNING! If the seat shell is not securely attached, it can detach and cause the child to fall. Always double-check attachment before use.

Using the Safety Belt

Instructions for threading and fastening the 3-point safety belt (part of ANTILOP set).

  1. Insert the belt buckle tongue through the front center slot of the seat shell from below.
  2. Thread the two shoulder straps through the upper side slots from the front to the back.
  3. Connect the shoulder straps to the buckle on the back side of the shell.
  4. Place child in the seat. Bring the crotch strap up between the child's legs.
  5. Pull the shoulder straps over the child's shoulders and connect all three tongues to the central buckle in front of the child.
  6. Adjust strap tightness so that only one or two fingers can fit between the strap and the child's body.

Tip: The buckle is designed to open only when both buttons are pressed simultaneously, preventing the child from releasing it.

Attaching & Removing the Tray

Using the ANTILOP tray (sold separately) with the seat shell.

  1. To Attach: Hold the tray with the IKEA logo facing the child. Align the tray's side arms with the guides on the seat shell. Push the tray firmly towards the seat until it clicks into place on both sides.
  2. To Remove: Press the release buttons located on the underside of the tray, near the seat shell, simultaneously. Pull the tray straight out towards you.
  3. Adjustment: The tray has two positions. For the closer position, attach it to the inner set of guides. For more space, use the outer guides.

CAUTION! Ensure the tray is securely locked before placing food or items on it. Always remove the tray before lifting the child out.

Cleaning & Maintenance

The seat shell is easy to clean due to its smooth, non-porous surface.

WARNING! Do not use bleach, harsh chemicals, or place in a dishwasher, as this can damage the plastic.

Disassembly & Storage

To remove the seat shell from the frame for cleaning or storage.

  1. Remove the child, tray, and safety belt.
  2. 2. Lift the back of the seat shell upwards to disengage the rear slots from the frame.
  3. Lift the front of the seat shell up and forward to unhook it from the front bars.
  4. Store the seat shell in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
