Installation Instructions

  3. Secure brackets to wall with provided screws and wall plugs.

Ventilation Modes

Extraction Mode (Ducted): Air is vented outside through ducting. This is the most efficient mode.

  1. Ensure ducting is properly connected to hood outlet and exterior vent.
  2. Check that wall vent has backdraft damper.

Recirculation Mode: Air is filtered and returned to kitchen. Requires installation of carbon filters.

  1. Install carbon filters behind aluminum grease filters.
  2. Close off duct outlet or use recirculation adapter.
  3. Air passes through grease filter, then carbon filter to remove odors.

Tip: Use high speed for heavy frying, low speed for simmering.

Maintenance & Cleaning

  1. Aluminum Grease Filters: Clean every month. Remove filters, wash in hot soapy water or dishwasher (top rack). Dry completely before reinstalling.
  2. Carbon Filters (if used): Replace every 3-6 months depending on use. Cannot be cleaned.
