Product Overview

Key components of the AGARALG lighting fixture.

Assembly Instructions

Assemble the fixture on a clean, soft surface before mounting.

  1. Attach the mounting bracket to the fixture base using provided screws (if not pre-attached).
  2. If included, carefully attach any arms, stems, or decorative elements as shown in the diagram.
  3. Do not fully tighten all screws until the final alignment is complete.
  4. Keep the glass/plastic shade aside until after electrical connection is complete.

CAUTION! Handle glass or plastic parts with care to avoid breakage.

Electrical Installation

WARNING: TURN POWER OFF AT THE CIRCUIT BREAKER.

  1. Remove the existing fixture (if any).
  2. Identify wires in your ceiling/wall junction box: Live (L), Neutral (N), and Ground (Earth).
  3. Connect fixture wires to house wires: Live to Live (Brown to Brown/Black), Neutral to Neutral (Blue to Blue/White), Ground to Ground (Green/Yellow to Green/Yellow or metal junction box).
  4. Use provided wire connectors. Twist wires together securely and screw on connectors.
  5. Neatly tuck all connected wires into the junction box.

Mounting to Ceiling/Wall

Secure the fixture to the junction box.

  1. Align the mounting bracket (attached to fixture) with the holes on the junction box.
  2. Use the provided screws to secure the bracket firmly to the junction box.
  3. Ensure the fixture is stable and does not wobble.
  4. If applicable, attach the fixture canopy or cover plate to conceal the junction box and wires.

Tip: A helper can hold the fixture in place while you secure it.

Bulb Replacement

Use only the recommended bulb type to avoid damage and overheating.

  1. Ensure the fixture is cool and power is turned off.
  2. Gently remove the shade/diffuser (usually twists counter-clockwise or is held by clips).
  3. Unscrew the old bulb and dispose of it properly.
  4. Screw in the new bulb. Do not exceed the maximum wattage indicated on the fixture label (e.g., Max 60W). LED or CFL bulbs are recommended for energy efficiency.
  5. Reattach the shade/diffuser securely.

Operation

Operate the light using your existing wall switch.

  1. Turn power back on at the circuit breaker.
  2. Use the wall switch to turn the light ON and OFF.
  3. If the fixture includes a pull chain or dimmer, follow its specific operation instructions.

Note: Some energy-saving bulbs (CFL/LED) may have a short delay when turning on or may not be compatible with dimmers unless specified.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug/turn off power before any cleaning.

Use a dry, soft cloth to dust the fixture and shade. For plastic shades, a damp cloth with mild soap can be used. Dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners, chemicals, or solvents.

CAUTION! Never immerse the fixture in water or other liquids.
