Electrical Installation
WARNING: TURN POWER OFF AT THE CIRCUIT BREAKER.
- Remove the existing fixture (if any).
- Identify wires in your ceiling/wall junction box: Live (L), Neutral (N), and Ground (Earth).
- Connect fixture wires to house wires: Live to Live (Brown to Brown/Black), Neutral to Neutral (Blue to Blue/White), Ground to Ground (Green/Yellow to Green/Yellow or metal junction box).
- Use provided wire connectors. Twist wires together securely and screw on connectors.
- Neatly tuck all connected wires into the junction box.
Mounting to Ceiling/Wall
Secure the fixture to the junction box.
- Align the mounting bracket (attached to fixture) with the holes on the junction box.
- Use the provided screws to secure the bracket firmly to the junction box.
- Ensure the fixture is stable and does not wobble.
- If applicable, attach the fixture canopy or cover plate to conceal the junction box and wires.
Tip: A helper can hold the fixture in place while you secure it.
Bulb Replacement
Use only the recommended bulb type to avoid damage and overheating.
- Ensure the fixture is cool and power is turned off.
- Gently remove the shade/diffuser (usually twists counter-clockwise or is held by clips).
- Unscrew the old bulb and dispose of it properly.
- Screw in the new bulb. Do not exceed the maximum wattage indicated on the fixture label (e.g., Max 60W). LED or CFL bulbs are recommended for energy efficiency.
- Reattach the shade/diffuser securely.
Operation
Operate the light using your existing wall switch.
- Turn power back on at the circuit breaker.
- Use the wall switch to turn the light ON and OFF.
