Safety Instructions

Assembly Instructions

The panel comes pre-assembled. This section covers preparation for wall mounting.

  1. Lay the panel on a soft, flat surface (e.g., grass or cardboard) to avoid scratching.
  2. Identify the top and bottom of the panel (the frame is symmetrical, but check for any pre-drilled bracket holes).
  3. Attach the four L-shaped mounting brackets to the back of the panel frame using the provided screws (if not pre-attached). Place one bracket near each corner.
  4. Ensure all brackets are firmly tightened.

Tip: Have a helper hold the panel steady during bracket attachment.

Wall Installation

Mounting the panel securely to your wall.

  1. Plan Position: Decide where the panel will be mounted. Ensure there is enough clearance.
  2. Mark Bracket Points: Hold the panel against the wall (with helper). Use a level to ensure it is straight. Mark the wall through the holes in each bracket.
  3. Drill Pilot Holes: Set the panel aside. Drill pilot holes at the marked points, using a drill bit suitable for your wall material.
  4. Insert Wall Plugs: Insert the provided plastic plugs into the pilot holes.
  5. Mount Panel: With helper, lift the panel and align the bracket holes with the wall plugs. Insert and tighten all screws securely.
  6. Final Check: Gently try to move the panel to ensure it is firmly fixed. Re-tighten screws if necessary.

WARNING! Do not overtighten screws, as this may strip the plugs or damage the frame.

Care & Maintenance

To ensure longevity of your acacia wood panel.

  1. Cleaning: Use a soft brush or cloth to remove dirt and debris. For stubborn stains, use mild soapy water and rinse with clean water. Do not use a pressure washer.
  2. Annual Treatment: Acacia wood benefits from an annual application of a protective wood oil, stain, or sealant suitable for outdoor use. This maintains color and weather resistance.
  3. Inspection: Periodically check mounting brackets and screws for tightness, especially after extreme weather.
  4. Winter Care: If possible, protect from direct, heavy snow load. The natural wood may develop a silvery-gray patina over time, which is normal.

CAUTION! Never use harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners.
